Dolphin
I believe that I am currently the boards most effective thread killer.:D Post your best kill, and then I will post mine. :auto: Anyone else can join, we will see who is the current Queen of Killing Threads. For the purpose of this wager. You killed the thread if you were the last post and there was at least a month before someone added anything to it. Also, as this is an internet forum, this is a silly game. I have picked on ibbygirl as she has an amazing sense of humor.:tongue_smilie:

Ibbygirl
This one was just painful. I was so excited and only one other person even commented. Epic Fail! This one I got reamed for bragging about how nice the weather was here in Florida during the winter AND killed the thread. hehehe This one I was trying to give something away for free to the boardies because I knew I couldn't use it, but didn't want to just throw it away. NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY!! Feeling like a leper now! :crying: This one I asked a question and never got an answer. D'oh Dissed again! Yet another thread fail! and another and another and another Okay this is truly embarrassing. Should I continue or just declare myself the winner?? :D I'm sure my Kafkatime idea will prove to be a big fail too, but it hasn't been a full month yet. Just wait and see. I can hear the creaking of the coffin already! :D Jen, THE REAL THREAD KILLER!!!!

swellmomma
I know I have threads I have killed, but am too lazy to search for them. However I have even more like Ibbygirl where I post and get 1-2 replies if I am lucky, many were I get none. HEy I knew I posted about this before theday. Yo Imp you need to be on the boards more or you would have known of this science day. ;) That one isn't such a big deal though I knew I had announced it to Albertans I was so very excited to brag about this, and got 4 replies (and 198 views) Or how about this one again very excited. 3 replies (264 views) Then there is this one asking for thoughts on a particular program and using it for some but something else for others, 0 replies Or this one, asking what the heck to do with language delayed son, he is still delayed I had hoped to get help here but no dice, only 1 reply Most of my posts about ds's leg/car crash same thing 2-3 replies. Of course when I posted about dd4's "butt burp" I got lots of replies about other people teach their children manners rather than seeing it as the funny it was Or I know the Bedroom search thread That one stirred it up with 32 replies and 1,302 views. Mostly my only threads that get good replies are the ones that people think make me a bad person/parent. Not only as I know my thread about the hornets, and confessions etc have had lots of replies etc. Funny to look back at posts from years ago, there is a ton that have few replies, I just grabbed a few. Way to make a person feel loved people. I am going to take my toys and leave this sandbox....well until snack time is over lol

Ibbygirl
Now I want to go around to all those linked threads and post something to them. :D (I've had my fair share of dud threads.) lol
Ibbygirl
I see I already posted to that thread. Quite a funny post if I do say so myself! :D Yeah, this part cracked me up! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! ... Just like LIFE! But tell me true Nance, did you ever really go back and look at the links?? hehehe :p At least I am in good company! :cheers2: Hear! Hear! :cheers2:
NanceXToo
Yeah, this part cracked me up! But tell me true Nance, did you ever really go back and look at the links?? hehehe :p Hear! Hear! :cheers2: It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about. I was like, did I go back and look at what links? And then I just saw what you were talking about, where I said I would go back and look at links you'd posted in the 80's thread. And then I was like, er, oops, I don't think I ever did go back and look at them LOL. So, I just did now hehe. That first one (do YOU remember which songs they were?), the Peek A Boo one, I don't think I've ever even heard! The second one, Jump, was like my very favorite song ever in sixth grade haha. I had a huge crush on David Lee Roth back then. Of course, you didn't post the Bon Jovi one specifically for me, but I loved him, too, back then and for quite a few years thereafter! :D

They used to always play that one in the skating rinks back then. :) I found another one on YT. It's the long version, but the radio versions had the sound disabled. Ay mija! I dedicated a whole post to Bon Jovi!!! Keep looking. That thread is sad. The last like 5 pages of it are me alone posting songs. It's quite sad really!! :001_huh: "dancing with myself uh, uh uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh...." :p Edited February 1, 2012 by Ibbygirl

Dolphin
Dolphin you forgot me in your multi quote. Can you see me now? :D Tina, I was quoting people I hadn't responded to. Look at post 23:lol: I don't really ever go to the city per se (despite having grown up on Long Island) but that's not to say I couldn't, it's about a 3 hour ride maybe, let me know when you are going to be there and maybe we can meet up! ETA: And darn it, Ibby, don't let me kill the GFI thread haha I am bummed I didn't *know* you better a few months ago, and that you were so close to Philly. What is the GFI thread? Now I want to go around to all those linked threads and post something to them. :D (I've had my fair share of dud threads.) troublemaker
