Mama2Many4
the quick post icon every. single. time. you want to reply to a post? I find it very annoying to have to do this all the time. I wish they would change this to just having the post box ready to go. Ahhh! :tongue_smilie:
Crissy
:001_huh:  Nope. it never occurred to me to be irritated.
bbkaren
I just always hit "post reply". Long ago, on another forum I discovered that reply box doesn't work so I never got into the habit of trying it...
Ellie
:001_huh: No, it doesn't irritate me, either. And I never use quick reply.
Mama2Many4
Hmm, guess I need to take a :chillpill:. I just hit the post reply and that works a little better. I'm so used to everything being instant on other message boards.
QuirkyKidAcademy
It's annoying to me because other boards I use don't have that requirement, so I have to remind myself. Not a big deal, no, but still annoying.
AK_Mom4
Given the frequency that my cat decides to take a trip across the keyboard whenever I get a cup of coffee, I am sort of glad that I have to click on "Post Reply" to actually put a reply in. I would hate to think that my cat was sending cryptic messages to you folks out there....
elegantlion
No, but I grew up with dial phones, and I remember a time before microwaves and remote controls. :tongue_smilie:  I'm still kind of fascinated by all this "instant" communication. Thank goodness touch tone predated 10-digit dialing!
Colleen in NS
(trying the "quick reply" button now) What is the difference?
Colleen in NS
the quick post icon every. single. time. you want to reply to a post? I find it very annoying to have to do this all the time. I wish they would change this to just having the post box ready to go. Ahhh! :tongue_smilie: (clicking on "quote" button now) Ah, OK, "quote" automatically puts the replied-to post in the box, whereas "quick reply" doesn't. And "post reply" allows you to select multiple posts to reply to. Interesting - I never even noticed "quick reply" before!
Ellie
It's annoying to me because other boards I use don't have that requirement, so I have to remind myself. Not a big deal, no, but still annoying. Only one other forum that I participate regularly on does NOT require us to "reply."
blondeviolin
I'm amazed others don't use quick reply. I use it nearly any time I reply...I wish I didn't have to hit the button too...
PiCO
Does anyone else get annoyed having to click the quick post icon every. single. time. you want to reply to a post? No. It never occurred to me to find that annoying. (I hope everything is OK in your life.)
Mama2Many4
No. It never occurred to me to find that annoying. (I hope everything is OK in your life.) :001_huh: I think that was uncalled for.

How I wish remote controls had never been invented. I am sure if people:glare::glare: had to get up of the chair to change the channel we might be able to watch a movie straight through without having to see what is on every other channel at the same time.
