Poofy hair? Watch out for the TSA if you're flying!

Recommended Posts

If your hair "poofs out from the body" you just might have a TSA person running his/her fingers through your hair.

These stories from travelers are getting creepier all the time.

(Note: the woman in this story had already gone through the body scanner and was still told that her hair would have to be examined.)

I always have TSA agents pat my head and neck but they do 'ask' first.

Hope this doesn't apply to hair below the waist during the leg / groin portion of the exam.

This instantly made me think of the bedroom carpet with landing strip thread!

Okay, so they said that head coverings were supposed to be searched. I guess they are technically correct that hair does indeed cover the head. So are these searches truly random? Or do they literally search every single person that has something on that is on their suspicious list? The lady in this video said she specifically saw other women with poofy hair and they were not being searched. It seems to me that it should be everyone. Otherwise, can these security measures truly be effective? Maybe terrorists will send 100 poofy haired women to the airport knowing that at least 1 will get through, which is all it takes?

Gotta tell ya, if there is "noticable poofing" during that part? That seems like a red flag to me.

Most women in New Jersey are collectively fainting....

Any TSA agent who puts their fingers in my MIL's "Aqua-net" bouffant disaster won't be able to remove them without help from another agent. It will definitely be a two-man job. :D

I know all there is to know about the crying game

I've had my share of the crying game

First there are kisses, then there are sighs

And then before you know where you are

You're sayin' goodbye

While I confess that I HATE TSA, I also kind of see why there is such a response to security threats. Now they are saying people will allow explosives to be implanted into their bodies surgically!!

So while I think those checks are extreme, so are the threats. So sad that things have come to this!!!!!

But don't you remember the scene in "Casino" when Joe Pesci and his family were coming back from overseas and the the FEDs where searching their things and the wife was yelling at them to not mess up her nicely folded clothes. When they got home she shook a bunch of diamonds out of her hair bun on top of her head! LOL!
