JennifersLost
They're back! We saw them last night around 10:30. (scroll down just a bit!) I keep going out in my living room and looking out the window to see if they'll come back tonight.
specialmama
Cool. I haven't seen one in a few years. I can do a mean moose call though! Freaks all the hunters out

Harriet Vane
Cool! Dh has been camping up north several times, and I have joined him twice. In all but one trip he had a moose sighting, and moose have grown near and dear to his heart as a result.

Chris in VA
How cool! (At first, I misread your name and thought I was reading Jen from MI's posts--moose in MI would have been interesting, too! LOL)
Hedgehog
Very cool! I lived in Canada for a spell but never saw any real live moose. We did get to eat some though - dead that is - :tongue_smilie:
wapiti
We had a mother and baby moose at our back door last fall - the mama was very sweet to the baby - but it was too dark to get a picture.

Kathleen in VA
Cool. I haven't seen one in a few years. I can do a mean moose call though! Freaks all the hunters out  Now there's something to put on your resume.:D Jennifer - that is so amazing - moose in your yard. Wow! And to think, I thought it was awesome the day a neighbor's cows ended up peering in my living room window. I'd love to see a moose some day.:)
dangermom
Mooses come walking over the hill Mooses come walking, they rarely stand still When mooses come walking they go where they will When mooses come walking over the hill Mooses look into your window at night They look to the left and they look to the right The mooses are smiling, they think it's a zoo And that's why the mooses like looking at you So, if you see mooses while lying in bed It's best to just stay there pretending you're dead The mooses will leave and you'll get the thrill Of seeing the mooses go over the hill (Arlo Guthrie)
paradisebound
That is amazing. My husband would love a view like that!
Parrothead
I don't think I've seen a moose since we left the other side of the state. We are just a bit more urban here. I did see a bear last summer though. Enjoy your moose Jennifer.
katemary63
Beautiful! We live just a few miles south of moose county. I don't think we'll ever see one in out back yard, but we only need head 20 miles up Hwy7 to see them.

Mejane
Way cool. We have them here, too, migrating down from Canada. I've never seen one. I'd love to, but I also think I might freak out a little if I did. They're so biiiig. :001_smile:
