Parrothead
Depends on what I'm going to do with it. My first thought was "in a pot." Only if I'm making potatoes or pasta or something that needs to be boiled. When I make my tea, I boil the water in my electric kettle. Jean in Newcastle
It depends on what I'm boiling it for. If it's for spaghetti, then in a stockpot. If for a mug of tea, I nuke it. If it's for an actual tea party, then the kettle.
rootsnwings
We don't have a kettle so I use a pot. Or the microwave if I'm like making hot chocolate or something. :)

It has been more than 4 decades since I read them as a kid, but I'm pleased they are still popular. Appologies to the OP for going off topic. I'm starting them in June with Luke. It's funny, I read them to both of my older dc as preparation for school and I wasn't sure if I should read them to my youngest, since he's not going.
