The Prayer/Positive Thoughts Chain for Imp's Dental Surgery is posted below -- remember, this is for Thursday, December 2nd (this week). The social group page has the very specific prayer request information there and I am providing it here as well so folks don't have to hunt for it.

 

 

WE ARE PRAYING SPECIFICALLY: that the RSD will not spread to Imp's face, the Lord will guide her surgeon's hands, she will have peace before, during & after the procedure, Imp will not have any anesthesia issues, she will be covered in the Lord's love, mercy & comfort throughout - beginning right now & culminating in being free of pain, infection & dental issues with the emphasis on 'no more pain.'

 

 

Oh, and if you want to specifically commit to a time slot, and you don't see an opening, I can double-book -- this is certainly one of those instances where 'the more the merrier' applies. AND: I have my name in red -- feel free to PM me and ask for one of my slots - I plugged myself in where I had openings and then just got tired of doing that and designated the remaining places as OPEN -- so there are still slots to fill.

 

Oh, and if you read this and it is getting buried, please give it a bump. Thanks.

 

I have done this (for the most part) in thirty minute increments to keep myself from going batty........okay, :glare: to keep myself from going MORE batty. If you can pray for 10 minutes of your time slot, that's wonderful and so very much appreciated....if you can pray for the entire thirty minutes, THAT is wonderful and so very much appreciated. If you can pray for 1 minute of your time slot, THAT is wonderful and so very much appreciated. You get the idea. I know that many will be praying very specifically almost constantly for Imp which is our objective -- to have her covered in prayer for 24 hours.......before, during and after her surgery. Specialmama/Karyn is one of those folks so let's remember to keep Karyn lifted up in prayer -- and Chucki/Parrothead too.

THE FIRST TIME LISTED IS MT (MOUNTAIN) (IMP LIVES IN MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE WHICH IS Eastern Standard Time + 2HRS)

 

Eastern Standard Time IS THE TIME THAT IS LISTED NEXT. I will begin writing a curric on how to convert time anywhere in the world as soon as I wake up in the morning.

Speaking from experience, is the baby kicking or putting pressure on your gall bladder? I had that with dd who is 11 now -- constant nausea!:ack2: Praying for you!

When I was getting it all set up, dh kept asking me why I wasn't using an EXCEL spreadsheet......:glare:........I told him to go away!

 

Everyone here was so generous with their time, it was only difficult b/c I was tired and bleary-eyed. If you look at the schedule, though, WOW! What an amazing group of people we have here --what a committment and the 24 hours are essentially filled b/c so many folks have said they will be praying in addition to their assigned time.

 

And, I have been SO good at GMT. :D Must go to bed now.

Thinking about the surgery makes me want to throw the heck up. I just keep seeing it as pain. More pain. I don't know how well I can handle more pain. Judging by the dental infection results, I have to say not well. Not well at all.

 

Its almost triggering a fight or flight response. Betting tomorrow I will be fighting that. I wanna throw up.

 

No more pain, I have enough as it is. Is that too much to ask?

RSD is never going to go away. I've been told that by more than one specialist. My pain specialist says I'm the worst case he's dealt with, because its not responding to treatment as well as he'd like. But that's the whole thing with RSD...what works for one, won't for another. B/c its dealing with the nervous system, its completely individualistic.

Thanks, again to all of you who have volunteered time to join the prayer chain. I'm so blown away by it, and is the one thing that I'm smiling about today.

 

I won't lie...its been a rough, rough day. I've been crying a lot.

 

I know that I need this done. But staring me in the face is pain. Someone is going to be ripping parts of my body out.

 

And he's not even able to medicate me for afterward.

 

I'm hoping to get a few drinks in before midnight.

 

I'd rather wake up in a few wks when the pain is gone. *sigh* I'm just sick of letting ppl hurt me...be it a WCB ordered assessment, dental work, or other physical exams. I just have to stand there, like a donkey in a hail storm, taking it. Powerless. Helpless. And nobody can fix it. Nobody can prevent it.
