  1. Did you check eBay and postmark for your favorite lands end pants? I get lots of lands end used.
  2. I’ve seen them at Walmart and Torrid has Disney ones usually. if she knows her size though LuLaRoe are always on eBay cheap!!
  3. Rough week, dh was out of town for work for the first time since pre covid 2020. No water fit for me all week. My hips still hurt from last weekends bike ride so no biking but I did walk a mile yesterday and today. And carried home a curb side free set of plastic shelves all the way across the neighborhood 😂
  4. I just found mine in a dresser drawer that I keep workout accessories in (ball caps, gloves, etc). Yeah… I do not remember putting it in there!!
  5. Biked 12 miles along the lake- gorgeous spring day! Going to rejoin the 99 Walks app for spring-fall. The challenge really does help me meet my goals, I’ve realized.
  6. Too much. Plus a back up wardrobe in 2 different sizes that I tend to go back and forth from. (That struggle is real- it’s why plastic tubs or under bed storage were invented, right)
  7. I cut the grass with a push mower.
  8. My answer is always The Night Circus! narrated by Jim Dale magical realism- if you liked the Midnight Library you’ll like it
  9. There are some nice bingo sets that have ocean animals, birds or other animals to find and cover. Something different than regular bingo and they don’t look childish. like this: Bird Bingo Board Game https://a.co/d/h3xRGLo Maybe search and find pictures? Not where’s Waldo but the ones like that. Could look for the pictures together. Or Spot It? picture dominoes not sure about her fine motor skills: Chunky stringing beads Melissa & Doug Primary Lacing Beads - Educational Toy With 30 Wooden Beads and 2 Laces - Beads For Toddlers, Fine Motor Skills Lacing Toys For Toddlers And Kids Ages 3+ https://a.co/d/f5VEpyh this flower building set is fun Flower Garden Building Toys for Girls Age 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , Pretend Play Gardening Gift for Kids, Stacking Game for Toddlers, STEM Educational Activity for Preschool https://a.co/d/4ZfbIOw
  10. The woombie ones are stretchy and zip up. They can move around but not break free 🙂
  11. My 2 suggestions- woombie swaddlers and can dad take some FMLA hours each week to also help? Go in early or leave late a couple days a week?
  12. More and more of my students are just not taking meds anymore- it’s too much of a pita for families to get them Filled. It is very much affecting our classroom atmosphere, grades, etc.
  13. Yep- I had to take a half day last week from my teaching job to get my kid to a new dr just to get a one month refill of her adhd meds. There are shortages of medication AND doctors.
  14. We were military too and my mom’s rule was we unpacked as they carried things in. 24 hours max was her rule for unpacking!! Including pictures hung on the walls. I carried that with me into married life and found out it’s not that way for most families. I was a bit shocked 😂
  15. I made it to aqua fit all 3 times this week. Did some yoga but have been super tired and sore from I dunno, daily life, I guess. Maybe still post covid fatigue or 4th quarter of the school year craziness?!? Planning a small hike tomorrow before working on a bathroom Reno. Kids were supposed to go to my moms but of course one now running a fever! So we’ll see what we actually do. @Jenny in Florida I’ve been eyeing trikes for about a year. I’d love a foldable Catrike but they are pricey!! I really need to test drive one to be sure before spending that much! I got a used Elliptigo last year but it’s really hard for me to handle so I was going to sell it but now dh wants it so… I’m not going to get that garage space back, sigh. I did spend some time this week researching bike trails we haven’t done yet within a few hours of us to try out this year.
  16. Perfect “summer day” mid April today in upstate NY. 80 degrees. I biked alone in AM then hiked with the family, then we all went to the beach with friends (the kids even went in the water!- the ice literally melted last week), then bbq in yard. I’m very sunburned though from the last few days of gorgeous weather. Supposed to snow later in week, of course.
  17. I’m new this year to wearing eyeglasses full time (I have progressives). I’ve always preferred plastic light weight sport style sunglasses that wrap around (we bike, kayak, & hike a lot plus live on a lake so are at the beach all summer) What do you do for sunglasses?- prescription sunglasses? clip ons?- that’s what I’ve been doing for driving and reading in the backyard, ugly and uncomfortable, won’t work for outdoor sports transition lens with built in darkening stuff? I don’t need new glasses yet but do need a sunglass solution. (these are what I usually wear) ETA- All set, I got a pair of wrap arounds for now, thanks! 🙂
  18. Ll bean vista camp capris. Thin and cool. They have ties on the sides too to adjust the length.
  19. I don’t wear any (48) and am a teacher. Lip gloss maybe if I’m going to a wedding.
  20. I’ve never made it past day 3 due to the head aches and nausea. You’re probably in the home stretch!
  21. https://dabrim.com/collections/cycling-products/products/rezzo @wintermom this is what I have, the visor version it’s great my mom uses the full one & likes it too. I didn’t want the back part (I was growing my hair out at the time but wound up going back to a pixie anyways) https://dabrim.com/collections/frontpage/products/cycling-classic
  22. Glad the covid fatigue has mostly passed. First ride of the season! 6 easy miles just to get back in the saddle.
  23. Public school is going to cost money too- teens just plain are expensive. You may not be paying for classes, but sports, band, preferred clothes, activities, school lunches etc also add up. I have one who homeschooled all the way through and one who started ps in 8th grade. Both options worked out fine in the end. The one who went to ps had learning disabilities & struggled. She was also able to attend a vo tech program that she loved! Can always give it a try! How does child feel about it? If you don’t want to homeschool 4 more years, that’s ok. You don’t have to.
