  1. Will second TaxAct.com I have used them for years and have a teen use them too. Federal is free but state will cost. They send discounts to previous users. It only cost me $13.95 for fed and state this year.
  2. Kolbe does not offer online classes. You can pay extra to have them critique the student's work. But I wouldn't call it real teacher-student interaction. Just me. MODG has a teacher led program for courses but it is not online unless they recently changed things. MODG might be more of what you are seeking? They charge fees for this over and above the family admit fee.
  3. :grouphug: What a heartache. God's will be done.
  4. Great analogy! I do not like Timeline at all. WIll try to set all privacy settings I can, again.
  5. I'm still mentally picturing a cake in a backpack! :D I suspect she meant well and din't think about impinging on your right to bale him a cake. Let the kids enjoy it and tell him to thank her. Let it go....
  6. Petition signed. Think I need to put this on Facebook too once I can get in. Prayers!
  7. Lovely! No help on how to make them less lumpy since I am not at this level of baking at all. I really like them all but am drawn to the last one with all the flowers. Impressive!
  8. I know what you mean! Same here except that I blame it on 'spell check'! :tongue_smilie: (Don't use grammar checks and still feel on top of that but the day may come...) Think it might have something to do with those neural pathways perhaps getting deeply grooved with the rules and failing to make the jump?!
  9. :grouphug: Onward! Or better yet, take a mental health day at least.
  10. Love Betty White's sense of humor! Only caught her piece on "Off Their Rockers" - a hoot. Hope I could be half as witty as she is at 90, or even make it to 90!
  11. Voted Brownie only because I focused on the 'moderately priced' restaurant. They all are tempting!
  12. I read the title as 'earrings"! Oh boy. Well, several of my friends are the sole wage earners (or significantly higher paid) and the first thing that comes to mind is that they have no kids. THey are heavy hitters at their work and their husbands pursue interests that support the spouse. For instance, one guy went to chef's school and cooks and entertains for the wife. If there were kids involved, I think the dynamics change considerably. ALso think that it totally depends upon the kind of relationship you have with your husband. Mine own husband is a non-working breed and it does get under my skin:D He spends well!
  13. WOW! Congrats and that was such a creative and cool idea.
  14. It keeps a really long time just in the frig too!
  15. Was just thinking about you and all of this today. So, so happy to read that things are progressing in a favorable direction. Prayers continue.:grouphug:
  16. Khan Academy - excellent resource. Concise, good teacher. Thinkwell - costs $$ but good program and Dr. Burger is a hoot!
  17. Normal, frustrating but normal. Soon though, he will be taking long showers and lots of them....
