    Ds9 has a loft bed and he hates it. He's scared being so close to the ceiling fan. I think he has only used it a handful of times. Instead he sleeps on an air mattress under it.

    Nothing! I can't seem to get into anything lately. Nothing has held my interest long enough to make it past a few pages in months.

    My kids are bored. All their neighborhood friends are gone for the summer and playing with each other has gotten old. I don't really want to give them extra chores because they are not complaining much at all. We're doing extra school to help keep them occupied and so they're ahead and free to play when their friends return. They're tired of crafts, imaginative play, the wii, reading, tv, and Minecraft. Dd is teaching the dogs complex tricks and that's helping some. They're just tired and want something new to do. We've gone on all the field trips I can tolerate. Ideas anybody? Please?

    529plans I usually stick with one plan for the upcoming school year. That's a lot of backup planning.

    The locked door was before the cereal. So maybe they were up to something worst, maybe not. It doesn't hurt to ask.

    We have a bichon/poodle/shih tzu mix that was 2 when we got him. We're still waiting.

    If everything was budgeted, yes I would be upset. Here, I expect the kids to sneak junk food during sleepovers. It is part of the fun and I leave it within easy reach. But I don't budget like I should.

    Nope. My room is always the last place to get any sort of cleaning or attention. I'm busy trying to keep up with the rest of the house.

    He sounds like my dog when we first got him from the shelter. My dd would sit with him and just pet him constantly. He latched onto her and wouldn't have anything to do with the rest of us for a few weeks. It took him a little under a month to get used to the rest of us.

    Congratulations! You got to 500 years before I did. I'm working on 750 and have been here since 2008 or so.

    I have a running list of subjects and how many times a week we do them. We cross them off the list as we go. Our week is over when all the subjects are done and on Monday the list gets printed off again.
