  1. I know someone whose son was prosecuted for a sex crime because he was intimate with his girlfriend when they were both older teens. He was slightly over the legal age, and she was slightly under. I wouldn't be surprised if he is required to register...
  2. We currently have 15 kids age 5-17 in our 4-H club. Most of them are between 6 and 11, and most are girls.
  3. Fair does not mean everyone gets the same; fair means everyone gets what they need when they need it.
  4. Advice: Don't go during a hurricane. :p
  5. I couldn't. Stupid logic on the lender's part about what the payment would be if my income increased. If it increased that much, I'd have enough money to pay it. Derp.
  6. I've had brown oblong Ibuprofen with I2 on them. If you read it upside down it might look like 51. I have also been known to take a few out of a bottle and transfer them to another container to take with me when I'll be away from home.
  7. I needed to replace a battery in an old ipod shuffle. I watched a couple of videos in which they used special little plastic tools to open the case. The videos were made by a company which sells the batteries. I went to their website to place the order, and the batteries come with the plastic tools for about ~$5-10. The most complicated part with the ipod was that the battery had to actually be soldered, but thankfully I know how to do that so it wasn't an issue. It took me, an untrained person, about 1/2 hour to fully repair the ipod back assembled working condition.
  8. Or lookup battery replacement videos for your device on YouTube.
  9. Envelope first, so windows, chimney, roof, then ac.
  10. Not sure about other states, but NH has special regulations for camps, and I'm sure it must cost something to comply.
  11. Silver Fox Inn at Waterville Valley NH, maybe a local yoga place within walking distance. Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth Nh has yoga, close to hiking. Both have amazing food.
  12. Yes, could be. Funny, I was thinking it's the right time of year. We've had it in the late spring/early summer.
  13. My 19yo has a car she owns which is registered in her name, and we are the policyholders since she lives in our home. The car was added to our policy. Every licensed driver living in the house must be insured on all three vehicles.
  14. So, their money goes to LGBT hate groups and politicians who fuel the fire of hatred which created the cultural atmosphere that condones an attack on that group, and then they step up as the heroes? Hmm. I don't think I'm buying it. Let's see them put their money where their mouth is, and then I'll reconsider my opinion.
  15. I have been aware of the issue for many years and think it is a real problem that should be be fixed. If they didn't want the U.S. capital to be part of a state, they should not have allowed people to live there.
  16. Your county Cooperative Extension office may have a forester on staff, or be able to refer you to an arborist in your area.
  17. My college ds recently told me he had this problem and threw the rest away. I think it was a problem with not enough water to dissolve the pod fully, probably because he was overstuffing the washer. Also, the pod is supposed to go in first, but he was putting it in the middle of the heap in the washer.
  18. We have done it once or twice, and my kids liked it, but when it was on sale last week they said they don't want to do it again because it is too cruel. All three agreed. We never had to bungee a pot. If you have to do that your pot is too small.
  19. My calendar isn't there. It is a paper calendar on my desk in my office, where I rarely am when on the phone.
