  1. This is quite funny! Thanks for sharing Colleen.
  2. I agree that it sounds like a yeast issue...however, another OTC treatment that does wonders is Resinol. I would call your pharmacy ahead of time, it isn't carried everywhere...but it is amazing. It does stain things pink...but at this point you probably just want this to clear up.
  3. I don't know if this will help, but if you have Microsoft Works there is a application called Microsoft Works Task Launcher...it doesn't have a newpaper template, but it does have a newletter that with a little editing would be very close to what you are looking for. :)
  4. I haven't read all the other posts...I am sorry for your loss, however...when my husband was growing up, he and his brothers were helping his dad put on a new roof and a little parakeet flew right up and landed on his dad's shoulder. This parakeet became their pet and brought them all a great deal of joy. I know you will miss your pet, but maybe you could think of this possible happy ending to your loss.
  5. Sylvia! It was my grandmother's name (she was an amazing woman), I love the meaning (of the forest) and I just think it is beautiful. I have always loved it...I may use it one day too. Until then...best of luck picking a name!:)
  6. I agree with Spycar....we get our beef from our farmer's market. The beef is grass fed and as other posters said it does taste different...it tastes better! Cows eat grass....that is what they should eat! It is healthier and local, which makes it taste better and makes me feel better about eating it.
  7. I just wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful ideas. I am definitely going with some books and just some baby essentials..Thanks again. I knew the hive would come through.:)
  8. Some friends of ours are expecting baby #1. They are registered and as I looked through the list of items I started to wonder...what would the hive say was the best/most used/couldn't have made it without it gift they had with their babies. So, give me your best ideas...the shower is Saturday! Thanks in advance. :bigear:
  9. That is so cute, as well as interesting. I did not know eggs quack...now I just really want to hear it!:o
  10. New Chapter Organics make the best line of vitamins available in my opinion. They are organic and food derived, instead of synthetic. I take the Every Woman and I have noticed such a difference in my overall health and energy level. Good luck. :)
  11. I'm glad to hear that you are doing so much better! You have always brighten my day with your previous posts...Life is good!:)
  12. Pandora is huge here...we find so many new bands by listening to it. I posted a link to it here a few months ago...I am glad you have discovered it! Enjoy.:)
  13. It is a book, but I feel compelled to rec it. The Self Sufficient Life and How to Live It by John Seymour is amazing...Such an inspiration. :)
  14. Try Boden http://www.bodenusa.com/en-us/Girls-Dresses/33094/Girls-Vintage-Dress.html
  15. I got the exact same thing today! How strange...it made me feel weird for a few minutes and then I just shredded it with all the other junk...I don't feel so strange now. Thanks for the post.:001_huh:
  16. Try the G2 pens...they write well and come in a variety of colors. :)
  17. Thanks so much for posting this amazing deal. I ordered two! One for us and one to send to my Dad!:)
  18. Have you thought of just building a pizza on focaccia bread? It is very easy to make at home. It sounds like that may be what you are looking for..:)
  19. I do 1 part good balsamic to 2 parts olive oil, then add a couple of teaspoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper, a 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flake and about a tablespoon of fresh minced garlic. Or you could do a honey lime dressing which is super good. 1 part fresh lime juice, 1 part honey, 2 parts veg. oil. and a pinch of salt. We enjoy both of these.:)
  20. I love Corgis....yours is soooo cute! That picture made my day! Thanks for sharing.:)
  21. I have only seen what has been released by the news...how bizarre....can you imagine witnessing something like that? Awful.
  22. I go nuts for this english muffin bread that is sold at our farmers market. I pay $5 a loaf....but it is so amazing. I have even sent it across the country overnight to my MIL. You should look into a similar recipe...the lady can't bake it fast enough...in fact it is why I have to be at our farmers market as soon as it opens, instead of walking leisurely over whenever I roll out of bed...:glare: Now that I am thinking of it...some herb butters would be easy to sell as well. Just grow some herbs in your kitchen window and flavor some butter....Wrap in parchment and store it in a cooler. People would love that I think, it isn't a baked good...but would be just as easy. Good luck!
  23. Everything is Illuminated is amazing. I keep a running log of all the movies we see, so here are just a few that got high marks. I enjoy offbeat, small, and some old movies as well...hopefully you will enjoy a few. Sylvia, Ordinary People, Rear Window, The Apartment, anything by Christopher Guest, Shattered Glass, Iris, Before Sunset, The Seventh Seal, The French Connection, Garden State, Danny Deckchair, Gaslight, The Barbarian Invasions,The Sting, The Sea Inside, The Upside of Anger, Off the Map, Mrs. Miniver, Proof, Winter Passing, Gosford Park, Alone in the Wilderness,10 Items or Less,....gosh I could go on and on. I also love The Office (british version) Spaced, all the Poirot series, House, Freaks and Geeks, and Arrested Development, Planet Earth, Blue Planet, and Boston Legal as far as TV series. I have logged over a 1000 movies, tv shows, and documentaries to this point...PM me in the future for further recs if these work out.
