  1. We did almost exactly what storygirl posted, and our house that just sold (in May) had multiple offers and a contract within a week. We also had a VERY good photographer to take the listing pics. I personally feel like the pics and the staging together sold the house. The market there was pretty hot at the time, though.
  2. Another idea is to slip them into the foam pedicure/toe separator things. :)
  3. Deja vu - I actually googled this exact question last week.
  4. What Dreams May Come Awakenings
  5. I had one when I was pg with my first son - best dream ever! (it was Robert Downey Jr)
  6. Was it rectangular and tasted orange-y? That gum saved my first pregnancy!!! (Also, do they still make Feen-a-Mint? My great-aunt used to take that, but I haven't thought about it in years. EDIT: just googled it, never knew it was a laxative, but laughing that a laxative reminds me of one of my favorite relatives, lol.) I miss chocolate-covered Paydays.
  7. Coach Whiskey Legacy Leather Gigi Tote From what I could find, it was made at least 5 years ago, but there are some on ebay.
  8. Would it have to be genuine leather? JCP has some that are very similar otherwise, including this one.
  9. I think I've decided to use Elemental Science, logic stage earth science and astronomy. I was going to do logic stage biology, but the experiment kit was out of stock, and I think my son would like the earth/astronomy one better anyway.
  10. Painted ours, too, lol. This is the table we eat on and use the most. The "real" dining room table has my sewing machine and 2 partial quilting projects on it right now.
  11. Mine says "shipped" and "completed" now! I don't have a tracking number or anything but yay! ETA: what are the books that were missing from other orders? Pleasepleaseplease don't let it be the art critique book.
  12. Am I the only one who still hasn't seen their order go from pending to shipped? Mine still says "pending invoice creation."
  13. Yes! I have a pair in gray and black, and love them both!
  14. ETA - nevermind, see now the coupon isn't valid for this order. Thanks for the heads up, got a great deal!
  15. At a recent t-ball game, after my 5yo DS ran to home plate, his coach gave him the extra bat to take back to the dugout. As he's walking past where I'm sitting, I overhear him say, "I'm not the MAILMAN..."
  16. You know the Food and Wine fest will be at Epcot in October, right? Yum. :drool5: (sorry, not helping. but they do have several kiosks that sell kabob-type samples)
  17. Oooh - nice! I know that happy/totally relieved feeling, when you think you're going to have to spend money you don't have until he steps in and saves the day - also married a handy man. Honestly, it's one of my favorite things about him. I remember when he pulled the steering column from my car when we were dating, after I was positive it was going to bankrupt me to have the thing fixed (not knowing what was wrong with it, even.) I had no idea he could do things like that. I was already head over heels for him, thanks to his personality and humor, but seeing him covered in car parts, troubleshooting my Prelude, pretty much sealed the deal. :001_tt1: Over the past 15 years, he has saved us some SERIOUS money. Broken appliances, bathroom gutting and remodeling, scout rocket launchers, automotive, flooring, wiring, plumbing, he's pretty handy with almost anything. He's currently building a new privacy fence, from scratch, because it's cheaper. <<swoon>> He also made some curtains for the kitchen in my apt back when we first met, but I'm not supposed to talk about that, lol.
  18. http://margueritescatering.com/cafe/ - more of a cafe than a bakery - they serve early dinners and cater, too. Bonus - same parking lot as our library! Really good chicken salad http://www.kookiekrums.com/ - more of a cookie/gift shop but they do have a small counter for a quick snack - the cookies are beautiful and delicious! http://www.cappuccinosbakerycafe.com/index.html - more along the lines of what you mentioned - I haven't been here but have passed by it several times - not much parking there - and I usually have kids, so not very convenient. However, after seeing the menu, I'm definitely going now! mmm. Coffeeeee.
  19. I just started using argan oil on my face after I shower, by "pressing" it into my skin while still slightly damp, and my flakiness has disappeared for the first time ever. Bonus = my skin is super soft now! After trying so many things, (but not all the ones listed here, so it might be a YMMV thing) I think the key to my issue was adding the oil while the skin was still damp, and pressing it in - other things I've tried didn't seem to last but a few hours. The redness is gone, too, FWIW. I do use exfoliating gloves in the shower, with a creamy cleanser and then follow up with the argan oil. If my face dries before I get it on, I'll just re-dampen it with my hands. It's like a whole new world for me, as I've always had the eyebrow/side nose issue. And rarely I'd even get some flaking on the sides of my smile, where your laugh lines are. Blech. I hope you find something that works for you, it's so aggravating.
  20. I get mascara now and then in my birchbox, and fell in love a couple months ago with the modelco fibre lashxtend one - LOVE it! Although, I admit that I was smitten with the fact that they put a tiny mirror on the tube, too - smart points. lol. It probably doesn't meet your checklist, though, AND costs $24 for the full-size. (The birchbox itself is only 10 bucks, which is why I love it.) I'll have to look into the voluminous one suggested here, because there is no way I'm spending 24 dollars on mascara when i run out of this. No. Way. A year ago I didn't even WEAR makeup. But man, it makes my lashes look soooo thick and long.
