I had lots of trouble, so much so I stopped wearing earrings by middle school. I got my girls pierced at a piercing shop and got new earrings for myself too at the same time. We have the captive bead ring style. they have been in over a year now with no issues so while they are more $, it's worth it to me. The piercer also recommended niobium as a good choice.

My cousin came today to do the taping of the sheetrock! In the process of discussing the job decided to pull down the popcorn ceiling in the kitchen, dining room and entry. Total mess! I think dd2 had a tummy ache from constipation last night. She was better mid morning. Dd1 did wake up last night though and was anxious about dd2 potentially puking. Had to lay with her to calm her a bit. No wonder I am tired.

Now possible sick kiddo. She said her tummy was bothering her. Therefore dd1's anxiety went sky high. It might be a long night.
