We freeze milk all the time. I just take it out at night and let it thaw overnight in the sink. There are always frozen milk crystals in the morning so I just shake it up and put it in the fridge. We have never had a problem with the kids not drinking it.

I will be praying for your cousin as she grieves and copes with the loss and guilt. Also praying for the friend & the families involved with these girls.

I am thinking you will need to put new sheet rock up also. I can't believe all the primer and paint didn't seal the stains in. If you don't want to put up sheetrock, maybe walpaper?

I like the movie. It isn't my "favorite", but I like it. I will be watching it again & again. I watched it for the first time tonight. BUT... I think it is NOT a kids movie...but GREAT MARRIED MOMMY Movie! They are all ABBA songs, which I LOVE. I now need to decide if I will let Dd #1 watch it. Right now I am thinking absolutely NOT. But her friend recommends it as a GREAT movie.

Maybe get her a couple skeins of yarn and a new set of knitting needles to go with the book. That would give her something to "do".

We keep the ketchup in the fridge. We don't mind that it is cold when we use it. I know many restaurants keep it out, but the way I see it they use it much more quickly than we would at home. Dd would eat the entire bottle in a day if we let her....she loves ketchup!

I am sorry you are having to do that, DQ. These are hard times for so many. We aren't faced with any major hardships as Dh is in the military and we are pretty secure. But I feel for so many that are just stuck and the economy is so bad. I'll be praying for your family, DQ, as you walk through this.

I tried it once as a teen to "be cool". NOT cool, those things are NASTY! My dad has smoked for about 50 years, I should have known they didn't taste any better than they smell. What was I thinking?! We have tried to get my dad to quit, he has moved his nasties outside, but he won't quit.

Update: The Open House went ok…10 Realtors came and did a walk through and filled out a “reportâ€. Most of them said that house is priced too high in this market, but we are kind of stuck because we are only asking what we owe on the house. 2 of the Realtors said that we need to paint the kids bedrooms in neutral colors. We have been avoiding that, at least until we get people in to look at the house. They all liked the look of the house and said the spacious corner lot is a bonus.

I don't know if anyone is still keeping this list up to date.... I just wanted to ask for prayers for the sale of our home. Our realtor is having an Open House tomorrow from 11-2 Central time. We are getting closer to moving time. Dh has to be at his next duty station by the end of Feb. Thanks for praying!

If your brother did share Christ with his girls then he knows that they all heard the message of Christ & salvation. It was/is their choice to accept Him. It sounds like your brother is feeling guilty and depressed. He made some bad decisions that affect his family, but he has also tried to reconcile with his girls. It sounds like he has accepted responsibility for what happened. I think meeting with a counselor and accountability partner will be a good thing for him. He sounds depressed and may need to be evaluated by a Dr. Grief is so difficult. There is no "set pattern" for everyone. I'll be praying.

You ladies look great! After Kathy asked questions I thought it would be cool to get my nose pierced so I mentioned it to Dh. He said he would REALLY rather I NOT do that. I'm bummed. I think it looks great!

I haven't read them, but Dh has and says they would be ok. He has read several of the books, though not all.
