    I spend about $200 dollars a week, but that includes pretty much everything except gifts. I stock up on sales, shop at Sam's and all the grocery stores. I try to shop at a different grocery store each week. I enjoy cooking many things from scratch, we don't eat a lot of meat, and local or organic produce tops my list.

    My dd used the A Beka Academy DVD courses for 8th and 9th grade. They were pretty solid over all without overwhelming her schedule. The science fair projects can take a lot of time, but the time line and schedule was pretty easy to follow.

    Wow, my box arrived yesterday. I'm trying not to peek back at the sale, that would surely add to ordering more. :001_smile:

    I try to extend a little grace, and not take it personally. However, I wonder how she would have taken a negative monologue on ps teens s@xting, drinking, smoking p@t, bullying, having s@X, highly valuing disrespect and cheating, coupled with the lack and acceptance of academic focus in many public schools.:tongue_smilie: My mom always said to smile and kill em with kindness.

    I'm already ready for bed and it's almost 5pm...The day started early, it's snowing, dark and cold outside...I'll be lucky if I can stay awake until 10pm. I do wonder what my dh will think when he walks in:001_huh:.

    My sister recommends BumGenius or regular thick-prefolds with a liner and good cover. She now only uses the prefolds with a liner for her 12 month old and finds them easy to use, wash etc.

    Our local HPB does have an education section, and it is pretty much a hit a miss. I've had very good luck finding many living books.
