  1. The whole gang is intertwined. This man tells a bit here, his Twitter accounts has much more information. They've been in cahoots for years. And don't try to say "well, Flynn isnt T, his son isn't T, etc." They call acted together.
  2. https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/14/europe/russia-yevgeny-prigozhin-internet-research-agency-intl/index.html I think the Mueller report mentioned the leader of Wagner a dozen times. So no matter what happens or who prevails between Putin and Prigozhin, our former Prez has important ties to him!
  3. Thanks, Pin. Your one liners remind me of being back in college, listening to some not so funny stand up, except that you can't even hear the heckles!
  4. I know. I just hope this means there's room for growth. Even RBG wrote 8 or 9 of the court's decisions where the Native Americans lost. The one in 2005 was disgusting. But then she seemed to change during the last half of her time there.
  5. I'm stunned that anyone who knows this court thinks it would have gone any other way. Do people really believe they will ever have a majority opinion that pertains to treating all people fairly and humanely This court is a disgrace, full of nasty men who place pubic hairs on a worker's soda can, write about boofing beer up their behinds, get all sorts of freebies with billionaire friends and then deny any wrongdoings. The only amazing thing is Mr Gorsuch has shown himself to be a very avid supporter of Native American issues.
  6. Large Hasidic Jewish population near you? Really? I'd be interested in knowing where, because I have never seen any Hasidic people, aside from tourists at the state parks near Ithaca or Niagra Falls. Travel down towards Montecello, then yes, I have seen many living near there, or go more towards me near Rochester, there are Orthodox synagogues But yes, your county was first, I think, to have a very progressive trans prison policy, but it took a transwoman suing for them to change it. I am not happy at the amount of conservative politics in my county but I'm very pleased to see that the transgender youth seem to be accepted from nearly everyone except the obvious Mega hat crowd.
  7. Tagging @maize and @SKL just an case they miss it
  8. Except I clearly remember threads where you and other non-Americans bashed someone here, telling him he could not understand because he was not an Australian. I don't think you titled your threads to ask that, either. And while you do not like that poster, it was always framed as you can have no say because you are not one of us, lol
  9. I remember reading about this piece of sh!t marine and his wife. Lying to a judge to get her, luring her Afghan relatives to America, then taking her from them. All because he felt it as a show of his Christian faith? He's a thief of the worst kind, a disgrace to the military, this country, and Christianity.
  10. I've read that over 75% of the school's parents, and the church, do not want the papers released. I think they fear more trauma to the schoolchildren, no benefit, and worry about copycats? My gut feeling is that some of the groups who do want it released hope to politicize the shooter being a transgender person, but I don't really know. The last I read was that the killer's parents want to give legal ownership of the writings to the school so they can do whatever they choose.
  11. White soled shoes have been trendy the past year. I don't know who or why it began. White sole rubber material is cheaper to make, according to one place I read. And then once it's a trend, it becomes more profitable, because manufacturers know many consumers will just buy another pair once they're dirtied, because being part of the stylish trend is soooo important! I know my nieces and nephews throw fits if their moms won't replace their scuffed up white soled sneakers. It's pathetic.
  12. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. They can enjoy a storyteller as much as the story itself. And let's face it, who understands drag, which is just dressing up crazy like, better than a little kid? Some people just enjoy looking for boogie monsters in every single space now. Drag queens are not the enemy. They're not groomers or predators or degenerates. They read classic tales and tales of -Gasp!! All these scary woke things like diversity, friendship, funny animals, trains with faces, etc.
  13. I haven't heard of any libraries around here doing drag story time the past 3 years, they've just recently started holding them at local bookstores. What reason does the library give for not allowing any other outsiders in your town? I find that highly unusual.
  14. I guess it's ok to post? Just making obscene lies, nothing new here under the hazy sun
  15. The person wearing it. I'd make the same face I made a few days ago when I was in line at Tim Horton's and the entire place started snickering and saying things like what a jerk. It was very obvious something was up but I didn't know what until I saw the man behind me was wearing a "Black Guns Matter" shirt. When he got his order and left they all started clapping.
  16. Moen! We have a 5 year old faucet that started leaking. I looked at videos on their site to see which part we needed, then called. I half expected to get some rude person but she was so helpful and friendly. She sent, for no cost, three different part sets, in case I was wrong about the leak. And Sweetwater music instruments has the absolute best customer service guys. They call or email after every purchase to see if everything's ok
  17. I read them. I think the entire family is a bunch of freaks. Liars, exaggerators, nutty, disgusting, dangerous employers, pathetic homeschoolers, seriously lacking parental skills. Take your pick.
  18. Have your seen the colors of Trix yogurts? They're neon, almost glowing!
  19. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Uvalde shooting. PBS Frontline is going to air a program about it on May 30
  20. According to one of the parents in Twitter, they're in a temporary space, I think another church offered. I asked her if many of the parents are more active now on common sense gun legislation, given the political climate in TN, and she said unfortunately not as many as she hoped for, but that will not stop the others from trying.
  21. I wonder how opinions would line up if they lived in an open carry/constitutional carry/no permits needed state and after being stalked and followed one afternoon, they spun around and shot the person, then said they feared for their life and thought the camera was a gun.
  22. Yes! And then I remember your posting type as very aggressive in responding over and over again, so I deleted it.
  23. Nevermind. Forgot who I was responding to.
  24. I didn't see him put his hand on her, either. He also did not sound like he and his friends on tbe other bike were thieves. But I would hope he would put out some statement of apology or explanation, but in today's world that could endanger him, just as the original news caused her harm.
  25. Technically, there is a difference between a chase vs a high speed chace. But I do think the statement was made hastily and could have been better described.
