  1. Thank you for sharing this touching story. I'm teary-eyed...what a beautiful tribute to Richard, and to the love you all showed him.
  2. Awww...:grouphug: again. Having the cooktop available would be great- you could heat the fish sticks and chicken nuggets easily. Sometimes we need a good pity party! I wish I could send you some chocolate and maybe a Mikes?! Hope tomorrow is a better day!
  3. :grouphug::grouphug: I am sorry you are having a tough time. You probably have already thought of it- do you have a crock pot that you can get creative with to make your meals? I hope you fill the spot in your daycare soon.
  4. I have been surprised about the last two episodes. I wonder where they're going to go with it?
  5. I see...I am starting to wonder how many "old-timers" that seem to have just disappeared really just changed user names. I know of a few, but there could be so many more! I may be missing people and they are right under my nose:tongue_smilie:!
  6. My best dogs have come from craigslist. Like Tap's MIL, I have found some purebred dogs that owners had to rehome due to a move. These dogs were loved well, trained, and very well behaved. I still send updates and pictures to the previous owners and when I have had a question about something- they are more than happy to help me out. Ebay Classifieds is another free classified sales site. You can search by location.
  7. We have 4. If you get them young they will follow you around like a puppy. We don't have a pond, we have water troughs if they want to swim. They do poop quite a bit, but we really enjoy them. We keep a warming light in their pen in the winter (they are penned at night to protect them from predators).
  8. :grouphug::grouphug: I am so sorry for your loss.
  9. Got it! Thanks for the hint(s)...I hate being out of the loop:tongue_smilie:!
  10. :iagree: Vancouver, WA is a great place to live. I love being so close to Portland. I lived in Olympia for about a year and I really liked it there too!
  11. We have marmoleum click in several rooms of the house. I really like it, and you can make some fun patterns with it. As far as how hard it is on the feet- I don't have issues with it. I have hardwood in the rest of the house-neither bothers me. I have also had ceramic tile, and I liked it too. It is not as cold as tile. I really don't ever feel like flooringmis too hard or too cold though:001_huh:. I wear slippers when I am at home because I don't like going bare foot around the house. It is easy to take care of. Hth,
  12. I covet your puppy:tongue_smilie:! He is so handsome!
  13. Congratulations on your new sweetie:). He is magnificent!
  14. :iagree: This has helped my ds's twitching. When he notices that he is twitching he eats a banana or some nuts and it stops.
