athomeontheprairie
I've been going through past game threads (and have a fantastic list!) But I need something specific. Something that can be played with 6-10 players. Mostly adults, but we have two players that can't read super well. Mad gab was hard because they don't have a solid grasp on phonics and taboo for the same reason. (One of these is an adult). We've played Eye-to-eye with good success. Qwelf was fun (though the men didn't love it). We'd like to try some new games. What do you have that works well for that many players, doesn't take hours, and can be modified if some of the younger kids decide to join us? happi duck
Spot It! says up to 8 players but iirc more could work if you can all see the cards.

Storygirl
We don't own it, but I've heard that Tellestrations is fun. It's a little like Pictionary, which is also fun for a larger group. We've had fun with Cranium. (Ticket to Ride is actually not that easy to play with a large group. We have six in our family and own many of the versions. Most of the versions only play up to 5 people (though Asia has a team play option), so with six or more, you have to adapt it.)

MrsBasil
Code Name? I haven't played it yet, but I needed a game that was good for groups of a variety of ages and abilities and didn't take a very long time to play. The guy at my local game store suggested Code Names. They have a variety, including 3 that were picture based(Disney, Picture, Marvel). So almost no reading required. I bought Disney Code Name based on my kid's ages. He said it's super fun, great for groups, and can be played with lots of people. It's also a team game and a game takes about 15-25 minutes. BlsdMama
Codenames Orugjnal might be hard - you do need to be able to read and upside down relatively quickly. I’ve never played Code Names Pictures? Maybe that?
Tiffnkids
We love The Great Dalmuti. Easy to learn card game - no reading. Each hand lasts 5-10 minutes, and people can join or leave the game after each hand.

vmsurbat
Board games: Apples to Apples Game of Things Encore Uno Spoons Pit I like this list and would particularly highlight: Apples to Apples Uno Pit as group games that work well with a wide variety of ages and skills and number of players. Alice
Card games...Phase 10 or Capitalism/Feudal Wars (played with regular cards, two slightly different versions of the same game). With a big groups we play Feudal Wars with multiple decks of cards and it gets really fun. Even young kids can play.
