ProudGrandma
This is for my SIL. Age 61.... this is for her birthday. She is sickly, doesn't get out much. She has just about everything she needs/ wants. She is so sick most of the time (we really don't know what she has...doctors can't figure it out...symptoms..IBS like symptoms, and migraines are her worst).... that she is basically homebound. She has a wonderful husband who takes great care of her, but he works long hours to help pay her medical bills. She loves cats, but many people have given her cat related gifts. She also has a lot of lotion type items too. We don't need to spend a lot of money.... so just a small token. I am thinking maybe one of those daily calendars where you tear the days of one by one... Unless you guys help me find a better idea. Thanks.
Bambam
Paper flower bouquet. Longer lasting than flowers, no smell in case that bothers her, still attractive to look at, can throw away when you are tired of it (no clutter!) or save for another day (clutter!). For an extra $5 they ship it for you too. https://www.lovepop.com/collections/lovepop-flower-bouquet-shop Freshcut Paper also has these, but I think the Lovepop ones are better. They do, however, have some smaller ones which are nice too. ETA: and significantly cheaper, so https://www.freshcutpaper.com/collections/flowers Edited December 29, 2023 by Bambam
HomeAgain
Flameless candle? I like them because they have no scent, so I can still appreciate them.
Innisfree
An attractive potted plant (ask if scent is a problem) A bird feeder or squirrel feeder she can watch from indoors If she already enjoys a bird feeder, a subscription to Project FeederWatch Handcraft materials, if she enjoys knitting, etc. A soft, snuggly blanket or shawl
marbel
Good ideas above, I'm adding a crossword puzzle (or other type of puzzle) book, or a jigsaw puzzle.
Kassia
I find soft snuggly things very comforting - blankets, socks, slipper socks, ,some kind of fleece shirt or leggings, etc. I don't know if it's cold where she lives.

I just DIY but something like this may be helpful https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Enrichment-PureRelief-Abdominal-Heating/dp/B07HXH6WQF L’Occitane lotion gave me a migraine if I use in my bathroom or anyone less ventilated. I should have guessed given my sensitivity to ladies perfumes.
Momof4sweetkids
Might be too expensive but one of those electronic picture frames that her friends and family can send photos too. Like a nixplay ( but there are probably cheaper brands)
