rebcoola
So DH introduced our youngest to his duck call. He taught her how to use it than gave her free reign to honk as much as she liked and than left for work. How do I repay him?

Gil
Take it away and make her wait until his day off to practice. Then run errands the whole day. 6
Tanaqui
Get whistles and other annoying noisemakers for all the other children. Hand them out right before you go on a long weekend excursion with friends.

rebcoola
He is off for a week starting Wednesday so I think I'm definitely going to arrange a ladies day or night out and leave him with the children doing something annoying. I don't want to be the mean mom so the duck call will simply get lost. Next time she sets it down, oh no sweetie the dogs must have thought it was a toy. 1

happi duck
Happi duck stretches their neck to full height and looks left, right, and left again. "My people need me!". Happi duck takes off in the general direction of @rebcoola's home.

Are we out of batteries? 1
rebcoola
I am seriously considering doing laundry and pairing up all his socks wrong since he is particular about them as stage one. While plotting something else like the taboo buzzer. 1 1

LucyStoner
Distribute all the whistles and horns to the kids on a morning he would like to sleep in. Right after you deploy the noisemakers, suddenly remember a pressing errand you need to run. Run the errand and on the way back, stop for coffee. Stop to browse a bookstore. Stop to get your nails done or get a massage. Whatever keeps you out of the house longest. 1

cintinative
I don't know--I guess I have never heard someone learning the bagpipes, so maybe it is horrid, but IMO tin whistle is just about the worst. Or recorder? 1
