cintinative
I have one of those Oregon Scientific smart globes. I probably got it 10 years ago. It still works fine. I struggle sometimes with the idea of maybe I would want something for my grandkids, but a globe might not even be accurate then. What says the Hive? Arcadia
I would sell. If it is a traditional/antique globe and I have space, it would be on a coffee table or end table as a conversation piece.
Arctic Bunny
Sell while it’s somewhat relevant!
Beth S
The technology & the geography will improve by the time your grandkids are 5 years old! (Yes, we kept our beloved old Leapfrog Odyssey Globe, but it has charging issues now. Our dd got a used one for $5 somewhere---which is an easy solution for the grandkids!)

cintinative
Thanks everyone! Now here's hoping selling on FB doesn't make me want to pull my hair out. 2
catz
That I would definitely sell. No guarentees it will work in a few years even. And we have an antique globe on our homeschool shelf.
Ausmumof3
If you’re keeping it for educational value you may as well sell it as borders and country names will change. If it has some sentimental or aesthetic value keep it.
MercyA
No question in my mind, sell it.
Kassia
A little late, but just wanted another vote for selling it. 🙂
Forget-Me-Not
If it's ten years old, it's not accurate NOW, LOL. I still laugh to myself about the time I bought a large map of the world for our homeschooling area, and the very next day there were headlines about some boundary changes in Africa.
Ottakee
I have learned that if you aren’t using something to sell it soon while it still has higher resale value vs waiting and seeing and then trying to sell the same item 3 years later when it is less valuable
