So DS15 is doing a Back to the 80s theme party for their 4-H County Ambassadors party....He asked me to make a list of 1980s pop culture items/people for a  "What am I?" type ice breaker game.

To make it easier, I am thinking to tell them it could be: Person, movie/TV show, or thing

So far I have:

  1. Micheal Jackson
  2. Madonna
  3. Miami vice
  4. Rubik cube
  5. Prince
  6. Moonwalk
  7. Break Dancing
  8. ET
  9. Star Wars
  10. Indiana Jones
  11. Die Hard
  12. Leg warmers
  13. MTV
  14. Cool Runnings
  15. Pac-man
  16. Tetris
  17. Donkey kong
  18. MacGyver
  19.

I need about 25-30 total..... HELP!!! I was still kind of young in the 80s, so what else am I missing that kids (14+) these days would know?

Oh, I'm ok.  (I think.) 😉

Also, I don't know what The Preppy Handbook is...

I’m glad!

The Preppy Handbook was fun and pretty much everyone in my pretty average public school read it and tried to emulate a bit of it.  I graduated in 1981.  We all wore pink and green if possible and wore those waterproof shoes similar to Welles which I gave up due to blisters.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Official_Preppy_Handbook

eta Girls in Calvin Klein jeans like Brooke Shields too!
