Scarlett
I love Keisha's 'praying' but I didn't love her performance tonight. Loved Pink. LOVED Little Big Town that is one of my favorite songs in a while.....written by Taylor Swift. I sometimes forget it isnt her singing when I listen to it.
itsheresomewhere
I am. No one but Eric Clapton should sing Tears in Heaven. They did it no justice. Kesha seemed very off tonight. Pink was great.

Oh I know! Who was that group doing Tears from Heaven. In their defense it sounded like the audio was 'off'. I puffy heart love Pink. Scarlett
Miley looked beautiful and classy. I like her voice. I hate when she goes trashy.
itsheresomewhere
Miley looked beautiful and classy. I like her voice. I hate when she goes trashy. Elton was good as usual. The group doing years in heaven was Brothers Osborne for the two ( on left) and I have no idea who the girl was or the guy with the sun glasses was. Annie G
Yes, Miley was great tonight. I hope the era of Miley with her tongue out and being vulgar are over.
itsheresomewhere
Finally found out who the other two were- Eric Church and Maren Morris.
Joker
I had tears watching Kesha. I think it was just emotional for her especially with all the women singing with her. I also feel for those singing Tears in Heaven since they all performed in Vegas at the concert that was targeted. They are singing for all those who died and that had to be tough. Pink is awesome! I enjoyed Ben Platt as well. And of course Elton John was great. Edited January 29, 2018 by Joker

happi duck
Pink was fantastic! I would've loved if they had stayed on the shot that showed the ASL interpreter. . Edited January 29, 2018 by happi duck

Scarlett
I loved the staging, the raw emotion, and the visible support. I didn't realize all the famous people singing with her.....I watched a clip and the last 30 seconds was incredibly powerful.

IfIOnly
The Twitterverse is not happy about Ed Sheeran. I think Pink would have been a better pick for What About Us. It was a great anthem song that many could relate to, especially with what's happening in politics (and for me, the real disappointment in election choices last year.) It was a wonderful come back song and full of meaning and depth. Lovely. Edited January 29, 2018 by IfIOnly

I've often thought that if his Shape of You video would have celebrated all body types and sizes, how awesome would that have been? But nope, the video featured a thin, athletic, and beautiful model or whatever. Bummer. Edited January 29, 2018 by IfIOnly
Carrie12345
I never watch award shows in real time, but you made me look up Kesha's performance even though I'm supposed to be getting my butt in gear. Now I've started my day with crying. Sure, the recorded version is prettier, but O. M. G. This was a gut performance.
Word Nerd
https://twitter.com/hamdimd12345678/status/957793762448691200 Has the Twitterverse ever watched the Grammys before? That’s not how it works.
Nemom
Overall I found the Grammy's very boring this year. With that said... Loved Kesha's raw performance. Pink...amazing as usual. I had no idea Ben Platt was such an incredible singer.

Scarlett
Between this thread and other things I heard, I feel like I want to find a way to watch it online.I loved Praying long before I realized she wrote it about her experience of being raped. I of course applied it to my own life experience---not one of being raped but nonetheless betrayed. So once I learned she had been raped her performance became MUCH more powerful....there was a lot of raw emotion that I at first did not appreciate. And Pink. I love her. And Miley and Elton. Love them both. Bruno is fun. So full of himself but it is fun. It was worth watching. I usually never do.
