Just Kate
I signed up for Audible.com and really want to cancel my subscription. I have a few credits to spend and would like some suggestions. Ds is 9 and dd is 6. Any suggestions for great audio books for either (or both) kids? Thanks!

*Lulu*
The Harry Potter audios are fabulous. Even those of us in the house that have read the books love to listen to them over and over again. The Bunnicula books are good, as are the books featuring Fudge.

ThatHomeschoolDad
There's a Narnia series out there read by some heavyweights - Patrick Stewart, Lynne Redgrave, Derek Jacoby, etc. Jeremy Irons reading James and the Giant Peach is also super, as is Mr. popper's Penguins, read by the author. Pretty much anything on the wtm reading list can make for a good listen too, as long as the reader is good.
zimom
Wonder by R.J. Palacio. My kids have listened to it again and again. The chapters are told from the POV of different characters in the book which makes it that much more enjoyable.

Karen A
We listen to audiobooks constantly in the car. Some of our favorites when dd was 5 or 6 were Betsy Tacy and Misty of Chincoteague. We've listened to EB White, Kate DiCamillo, LI Wilder that stand out as good too.

ondreeuh
We are enjoying Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes immensely! We also loved Liesl and Po, and The Invention of Hugo Cabret. I have The Water Horse on my Wishlist, and Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang has great reviews. The recording of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry is excellent too; maybe save listening to it for when you study civil rights.
