It takes a while just to pull them off, because they are so hot from wearing so long. By the end of the day you are almost begging for bare feet. Something that won't make me sweat. A plain, light, vanilla sock. Personally, I think I may move to knee socks in bright colors. Something to spice it up. I would think socks on the beach would be uncomfortable, as well. too much sand filling the socks would cause too much irritation I would think. I have a dear friend and she has confided in me that she is afraid she's knitting too many socks. Several pairs a day, sometimes more. Should I suggest she speak to someone? So please, don't take offense. I leave sock wearing while on the beach to the young ones. No one wants sand trapped in socks between your toes.
