Momma H
Ok, I have just started to see this everywhere (mustache, monacle, bowler hat) especially on Etsy. What does it mean? I am truly clueless!

Momma H
It could be steam punk. I have no idea though. There were Mustache stickers for your nails on etsy for goodness sake! Hopefully someone can enlighten. An I spelling mustache correctly? I may be spelling it wrong.
Mandamom
My dd11 saw mustache duct tape the other day at Walmart. I missed it though.
Mothersweets
I've been noticing the mustaches for the past few months but still don't know what the story is behind them.

Pink Fairy
I've seen these for years--years! And I still don't get it. There are a lot of trends and fads I feel that way about though, especially as I get older and crankier.
happi duck
I think it's just that throw-back, vintage-y stuff is very popular right now. Mustaches also seem to be the pendulum swing away from the super-coiffed, 'hairless' look for guys.
Reeciecup
It's a fad. I have middle school girl scouts and mustaches are the "in" thing right now. They wear fake ones, draw them on their fingers and hold the finger under their noses for a mustache. They have clothes and flip flops with mustaches on them. It's just like silly bands and hair feathers. Those fads flew through my troop, and now they are on to mustaches.

I see young kids on my FB feed post photos of themselves similar to this one. Quite annoying.
