momee
Where am I supposed to find jeans that aren't "mom jeans" but still cover my behind? Seems to be on t'other...and neither are gonna work for dh
Desert Rat
I have hips. I like Gloria Vanderbilt and Levis. They make a lot of different styles so it's just a matter of steeling your courage and spending a few hours trying on different sizes/styles. I shop at Kohls. I will say that I had a much better time of it when I convinced myself not to be sad about the number under Size. I recently did the same thing with bra shopping (far worse than jeans for me) and it was very liberating.
LarlaB
I have found that GAP long & lean fits very nicely- most universally flattering jeans I've seen in a long time. :)
MunRoLy
I love Ann Taylor LOFT's "curvy fit" jeans.
MindyD
I like the Old Navy sweetheart jeans, but I'm going shopping tomorrow for jeans :glare: and I'm going to try for Levis.
jillian
Gap Long and Lean or Gap Curvy fit me the best. I'm built very similar....all hips and curves

I would have to take someone in with me to go shopping especially for jeans!:001_smile:
MariannNOVA
"Not Your Daughter's Jean's" I've gone from not wearing jeans in years (and I mean years) to buying three pair at once (after wearing one pair to death for two months). Do a google search - I buy mine at Nordstrom's and from another club website. They are fabulous! ETA: Tried on my first pair and that was it -- I was sold. Took less than five minutes. Brigitte
Talbots is where I buy all my jeans. They are made for "mom" shapes but have more style than a typical "mom" jean. I always get them off the sale rack, which puts them at the prices you pay in Kohls, etc.
Tammyla
Slender Secret, Lee jeans are my new favorites. They sell them in lots of places...I purchased mine at Kohl's and went back for more after wearing them. I also like Gloria Vanderbilt, some Levis in the thick cotton weight for winter and occasionally Old Navy.
Chocolate Rose
Lee jeans are my favorites right now. Especially since they have them in "short". Kohl's, JP Penney, and Macy's have them. They go on sale quite often.
dsmama
Levi.com has a "Curve ID" for different curves. There is one size for those with bounty in the booty. :D
Ellie
I feel your pain. I want to buy pants that have waistbands, that actually sit *at my waist,* not somewhere down on my hips. Please.
KungFuPanda
Target has some jeans with different fits and styles in every size. Usually I get the regular length for pants, but regular was so long I needed short. My booty is a size bigger than I am, so the "curvy" style fit me well. I ended up not buying them because they didn't come in short. :glare: But I'll keep checking when I go back. It seems that all of the waistlines are creeping back up, so it's getting safer to shop. KrissiK
I like Gloria Vanderbilt, and Lee jeans. Right now I'm wearing a pair I got from Chadwicks that fit very well (I have hips and a fairly narrow waist, so when I get jeans, usually they fit in the hips and gap at the waist), but they're pretty old. I've been getting my pants from Target and I love those, they have the different "fits" and I found that the fit #4 does well for me! This was me EXACTLY. I live in a warm climate, so in the summer I wore shorts and in the winter sweats or yoga pants. When I wanted to wear jeans, it was uncomfortable after an hour or so. Then I tried on "Not Your Daughter's Jeans", and OH MY. I love them, wear them all the time, and they look great. I buy mine at Dillards or Nordstroms. Speaking of them, I think I need a new pair. :D
