m0mmaBuck
We are having one of those days that film makers want the world to think we have every day here in Western Washington! Stay dry friends!
4kidlets4me
We're out near the coast and it's horrid out here! I'm hoping I have power for the rest of the night!

What's funny is that, when I did go outside today, I hardly saw anybody with an umbrella (myself included).
kalanamak
It is so rainy, the bullet hole in my roof leaked (it didn't last year). We had Ranger renters in the house before we bought it, and there was a rifle in every closet, but only one bullet hole, straight up. This might seem remarkable, but the kitchen cabinets were full of empty liquor bottles.
Anne in CA
It is still raining now, but not so cold as it was. I'm tired of the gloom, but what can I do? I was born in Oregon and I'm addicted to this place.
myfunnybunch
It was a very blustery day. We enjoyed watching the leaves and drinking hot tea. Cat

My mom is on the Oregon coast and says the same thing. You're in Hoquiam....I grew up out near Humptulips. :) My mom still keeps in touch with some of her friends there. Jean in Newcastle
We've been walking around saying "Dang, it's dank!" Even the dogs run out as fast as they can to go to the bathroom and then come inside again.
cindergretta
We've actually begun construction on our ark... :tongue_smilie: (I also double-checked the dc's feet - all webbed! :: phew :: )
Xuzi
The only time we've turned the lights off in our house in the past 72 hours as been at night when we're all in bed. It's never gotten light enough to see well without them, even with the blinds all open.
twoxcell
Yes it is very rainy but I'm enjoying it actually it is about time we got some real rain. It was such a wet spring and early summer, but we haven't really had much rain this fall yet. It does make it hard for the kids to get some exercise though. milovany
I wish I could brag about how nice it is over here on the east side, but we have rain too! If we go "over the river and through the woods" this year, it won't be with snow on the ground.

Ali in OR
A storekeeper commented to me today, "It's like spring out there today." I gave her an odd look and she said, "Well, it's a WARM wind." Then thinking of how wet the last two springs have been I said, "I guess it is like OUR springs." But just the usual rain down here--nothing too like a winter storm.
Amy1k
Blech! I'd happily trade for last year's snowy Thanksgiving week.
kalanamak
"Well, it's a WARM wind." It was balmy this morning .... like a very early Pineapple Express.
