But they were nice looking girls, Barbie sized, nice, modest clothing. My daughter liked them. Maybe someone here will know the name. If I get time later, I will check too. They're totally different, because they're soft cloth dolls, though you can choose dolls with bendy limbs. We thought they were more appropriate for younger children, and IMO they're no different from Barbies in terms of how they can be played with...aside from their hair. Little Blue House Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 DD has an Only Hearts doll and horse that we bought from Target. It has held up really well. Unfortunately, I don't think Only Hearts has nearly the amount of clothes (getting a Toy Story 3 visual here :lol:) or accessories that make Barbie so fun to play with. (do they still sell them? dd14 had some a few years ago…plush dolls that had codes like webkinz) Polly Pockets? Strawberry Shortcake? (I saw those are back) Oh I saw this pink vampire doll thing at Walmart - ok dd14 just said "they're called Monster High dolls"… it was pretty cool looking. It's OOP, but often on eBay or Amazon: The Doll Book by Estelle Ansley Worrell has soft dolls you can sew that are the same size as Barbie and period clothes you can make for them or Barbie.
