Those are from the list on the first page. I also kept an ongoing list in his binder of extra books. I didn't include on this list the books I read aloud, such as SOTW I and Lang's Fairy books etc., or books we "buddy read", like Pinocchio.;)

Gosh, it looks like a lot when it's all written down, doesn't it?

I like to have a huge list of extra readings on hand :)

Thank you so much for the list. One question. It says essential titles are in bold but I did not see any bold come across.

Sorry! When I first posted this, I just copied and pasted it from my word processor. The bolded titles did not carry over, and I'm afraid I didn't notice. :blushing:Unfortunately, I can no longer edit the posts. Those instructions (about the bolded books, and the marking of the checkboxes, etc.) where simply notes to myself. So, feel free to bold any titles you consider essential :)

Thank you so much for this list! It is amazing.

I have started to use Pinterest to store links to the books that are available online (both written and audio) from this list. I only have first and second grade done so far, but i will be adding the rest as I get a little more time.

I'm not sure exactly how Pinterest works, but I think anyone can see the boards that I create. I think all you need is my name, Jennifer Owen. If that is not enough, just let me know what other information you need.

I also am putting the lists in a Google spreadsheet so i can track when each of my kids reads these books. If that would help anyone out, just let me know.
