  3. On Bypass Rd., about 5 min away from Colonial WM is a Cracker Barrel. :) For us, it turned into a lifesaver because we had some really bad dining experiences that week. In Colonial Williamsburg, we enjoyed eating at Shield's Tavern. You can ask to be seated on the lower level which is lit only by candles so it was eerie and cool at the same time.
  4. :iagree::iagree: In addition, compulsory age here is 6, so you will only have to file notices for your older 2 this time. Where in Ohio are you guys moving?
  5. Loved Earth and Space. I thought it was just the right amount of work for elem, and it had neat activities. we did Biology the next year, and we hated it. It was very light, and pretty boring.
  6. babies laughing makes everything right in the world, if only for a few minutes. here is my fave...

  8. My 12 year old and I are going to be using Write Now! to improve our cursive (Getty Dubay). I'm excited!:D
  9. we don't use the teacher's guide. We bought ours from the ocupational therapist my son used to go to. For some reason, it was cheaper there, and no shipping charges.
  10. Victory Academy. Our fight song is "Victory in Jesus". :D But when asked, the kids just say we homeschool.
  11. i reported it. you click on the triangle in the upper right side of the individual's post.
  12. :iagree::iagree::iagree: I'm so glad God is bigger than we people make Him out to be.
  13. Thanks for the hand holding, ladies. I needed it. :001_smile:
  14. I don't know what to do. She is 11 months old. Last week, she got a really bad cold and couldn't breathe w/ the paci so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to just take it away. This is what i did with her sister at the same age, and she was perfectly content. So, Sat. morning was the last time she had her paci. She was still sick Sat night, and did fine. Sun night she was still a bit "clogged" up and did fine. Last night.... she cried for an hour before finally falling alseep. I was holding her almost the entire time. She kept throwing her head back, to fight sleepi. i walked with her, to no avail. Then at 2am, she woke up again and cried until 3am(i held her the whole time). This morrning, she cried from 9-10:15 and is now asleep on my chest. She also started getting 2 new teeth yesterday, so i think it's related. I am feeling super guilty for taking away her paci. and have no idea what the right thing to do is. Will this just take a few days, or does she really need that paci? Please, any btdt?
  15. CLE has a yahoo group and a year ago or so, these scores were posted by a representative. I can't find the original post, so I don't know what tests these scores are from. 16. My ds started w/ level 3 as a just turned 8 year old. He is doing fine with it. You could use it with a wide range of ages. Your daughter sounds very creative. My son is too, and we have found WS to be somewhat stifling. It isn't a bad program, per se. It just seems kind of a waste of time. My 2 cents( i know you didn't ask :tongue_smilie:).
  17. :iagree:if you go on the weekend, there are amusement park rides at the zoo also. Nothing major, but fun none the less.
