  9. I am posting this for someone who asked me what my curriculum recommends as their reading list. This is not my list and I got it from my curriculum MFW and take no credit for it! 10. That is great. I will be using this list for the book basket for next year..you rock!
  11. I know its a lot of planning ahead..but my curriculum has huge reading list (MFW) and I work ahead on the list and keep a list for each week that I need to get from the library. I also submit that list at least a week before I need them..this gives them time to get it. I know its a lot of planning ahead, but I plan on using the summer this year to get me even more ahead!
  12. Is there a way I can find out if someone wrote back to me without searching the whole forum?
  13. I have thought about investing in the first level of HIG and seeing if we benefit from using it. The only way I think anyone would truly know if they are going to benefit from using it, is trying it out at least once. So that is my plan!
  14. I am starting singapore next year and everyone that I have spoken to has said that the HIG are not needed
  15. Yes I have to add that my daughter was 4 when we did K as well and it worked for her
  16. I used it and I thought that it was great. Then again my daughter was 4 when she did it, so it was on her level. The thing that I liked about it the most is that it did not force her to move at a very very fast pace. I see curriculum that teach a lesson and move on fast and it never really gives the chance for it to sink in...reminds me of public school. If its moving too fast for your child, I say slow it down!
  17. I have a good one..I will try and list it tomorrow
  18. I heard of HWT, I am going to do some research about that one. Thank you!
  19. Ever used it? How did it work for you? Did you use the intro DVD and the CD?
  20. My daughter is only in first grade but I am looking for future curriculum for her. I was recommend cursive connections through my curriculum. Anyone else have any recommendations?
