Okay, so I just read about 100 Emily Dickinson poems.
I need to know if I am reading it incorrectly. It just seems SO depressing. Even her poems about hope seem depressing. I've read plenty of Poe and it just isn't the same as this.
Please tell me how totally off-base I am and what I need to look for as I read it. I want to give it another go with the Hive's help. A bit of perspective ;)
Okay you literature people -set me straight. This is for my own enrichment and not for kiddos.
:bigear:
The most incredible thing I. have. ever. seen. in nature.
I saw it when I was 26 or so. It was more than a hole to me. I grew up near the beach and that is just water and hot to me:lol:. I'm glad we have choices;)It is a goal of ours to get the girls out there to see it.
Kim Komando (the tech-girl w/ radio show) said this clothing item is now #1 on Amazon because of that posting. It is just too funny. That company needs to give that guy a cut!
:iagree: We are hitting closer to 7 hrs. and that doesn't include music (2 instruments).
She is quite surprised by the increase in work time. I DID forewarn her and
she will get over it... in time.;)
:iagree: We had a very similar experience this summer with a fine arts academy -very pricey with kids who were supposedly very serious students. If my girls previously had any desire to attend a brick and mortar school, it is now gone.
I have a 2008 Kia Sedona and I love it. Best mini-van we have ever owned (we have had a Grand Voyager and Toyota Sienna). I'm not concerned about trade-in either. We will drive it for a loooong time.;)
My 3 are 16 and 14 months apart. It was very difficult the first couple of years at that spacing, but since then and particularly at the ages they are now, it is WONDERFUL! I would do it again, with the same spacing.
