  1. Good gravy, I had to read to the end to see if there was an update. Hope nothing is wrong. But seriously, knowing people....the resolution will probably be anti-climactic.
  2. Try https://www.youtube.com/user/muraljoe/featured His audience is probably geared toward adults, but he doesn't have anything inappropriate. His work is amazing!
  3. I never made it all the way through, either. I wanted to love it! Maybe it's time to pull it back out.
  4. So many great choices. Can't wait until hubby gets home to go over these!
  5. Adding Crystal Cove to the prospective list.
  6. What's the nicest beach that's close to Ontario, CA?
  7. This weekend I'll be the announcer for the awards at a gym meet. This very issue will likely trip me up because so many names are spelled youneekly.
  8. :grouphug: Hoping you don't need their services, but glad you have the presence of mind now to plan.
  9. We started when the kids were in (I think) 2nd and 3rd grade. While they do get something out of it, buying and trying early was more for me. Not only am I reeducating myself, but I'll be over the lumps and bumps before the kids reach the critical stages. Whenever your friend feels ready is a good time to jump in.
  10. Jealous! I wish we had one here but we only have Joann's and Michael's. Much better selection at HL.
  11. My mamm callback turned out fine! Hoping the same for you :)
  12. Thank you :) I am having a bit of anxiety. It's been about 10 mins....
  13. Omgoodness, I'm sitting here in the Dr office wearing a hospital gown, waiting for the results of my callback after my first mammogram. Lol, timely post! Sounds like I am not alone.
  14. I didn't see it on the website. We did, however, listen to Magistra's Latin version of Rudolph and got a kick out of it!
  15. A few years ago we did Minimus and the kids loved it! It's great for kids in that age range.
  16. SO glad you posted this! We're almost always out of reading material for our ten year old.
  17. I love, love, love ToG! That said, if you're not a fan of history this might be too overwhelming. Like any great buffet, there's a lot to pick and choose from, but if it's not your thing then it would be easy to skip whenever a time crunch arose. It might be good to stick with the basics that WILL get done. (This is exactly how I feel about science. Bleh.)
  18. I second the motion for a ball winder... ....wishing I had one. So many cool gift ideas here, so I suppose you need to know a ballpark how much your MIL is willing to spend.
  19. That's reasonable. So many things can happen at night that just aren't as big a concern during the day, especially for people who are handling money, etc.
  20. I'm guessing they didn't book it on Priceline.com.
  21. That's about the time my dh gets home at night, and while I used to expect the call--especially because it was late at night--I've mostly let it go. There are so many variables that go into what time he arrives home. It's all about battle-picking.
