I appreciate the feedback. I would have to pick "other" myself. When we have ordered something like a dessert or small item, I have included my usual tip. But when we ordered the bucket of wings and party pizza, our bill doubled. And the waiter didn't bring us the food. We picked it up in the takeout area on the way out. It is special situation for us so I was kind of thrown as to what to do. I added a few extra dollars but it was less than what I would have tipped if our total sit-down bill had been that same amount.

It is a pretty common phrase. I've heard it for years, since I was a kid myself. To me, it means the speaker thinks the person being referenced is stricter than what the speaker is used to.

I'm sorry about your FIL. I am not trying to scare you worse but your DH is at risk. Heredity is a huge risk factor, and unfortunately for your DH, with his dad dying so young, his risk is even higher. Adding in other factors like obesity increases the risk. If your DH hasn't done so, he should go to his doctor have a frank discussion, get a work up and a treadmill stress test. Please take this is in the loving way I intend it. :grouphug:
