Chik-fil-a has drastically changed their donation practices in the last couple years. There are quite a few articles about it found on sites all across the political spectrum. I have a $10 tracfone that I can text with on the numerical keyboard. I can receive text, too. If people ask for my cell number and I don't want them to have it, I say I prefer to use my home phone. It's mostly businesses or offices. I won't answer them when I am driving and I definitely don't want to talk business when I'm out and about anyway.

I had so many visitors resist/argue/ignore me when I told them to bring a jacket, put long pants and shoes and socks on when I was taking them from the city of Albuquerque to the Sandia Crest in spring time. "It's cold. There's stil snow. You need to dress warmer." "Nah, I'll be fine!" Then later: "it's FREEZING up here!" "Yep. That's why I said bring a coat."

Even though I started the Five Guys fries thread, I find their food too "rich." I do/can eat a few Cajun spiced fries but I skip the burgers and I'm not going to pay that much for a hotdog. I've never had a Starbucks beverage that I can recall cuz I don't like coffee and I can get cold drinks cheaper at Tim Horton's but I rarely do. I'll eat an item or 2 at most places. I did like "fast food" more when I was younger, though. I ate at Chipotle for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had some grisly pieces of chicken that :ack2: so now I'm paranoid. I do like Chili's bc DD and I will split fajitas and I'll have a margarita. :D We love the tower of condiments that comes with the fajitas. It is so cute.

I'm the one who voted no. I just read the poll and I figured the stain was cosmetic so it didn't affect the TM. Edited to add: oh, I see someone else joined me in the No group.

Yes, I have. He waited to tell me until he saw me bc he knows I'm A Bit Excitable about Certain Things like injuries and illnesses. He's doing well and I'm happy the doc passed his Thumb Gluing* class in school. :lol: *this doc really is amazing. Thumb Gluing is the least of his talents. He had actual patients today beside DH.

That is a plus, being able to win at thumb wrestling. I get squeamish watching ER and House. My DD has to remind me that it is all fake. :D
