  1. Oh, where do you buy your products? Any great online sources? Thanks!
  2. Who is still seeing these cases? I haven't heard anything in this part of the country since the end of April????
  3. Excellent suggestion and help! Much appreciated. Doesn't inositol have some tremendous health benefit? I vaguely remember my vitamin mama talking about it preventing gray hair or something??
  4. Agreeing with all that is said and that AP Gov covers less material so "could" be easier depending upon the student, of course. I think an excellent book for that course is the Wilson book and it does fully prepare you for the AP exam.
  5. Agree on the Splenda comment!!!! Thanks for the tips.
  6. I invite you FL gals to come on over to the mountains! It hasn't gotten above 65 all year yet! We were thinking that they canceled summer. Seriously, I do hope you get some response SOON. I used to live in FL and that humidity and heat combo is a killer.
  7. Love the idea! Dh and I considered this when our ds was about three and we went for four weeks to Chile. Santiago was wonderful! Once you get out into the other areas though there is a very strong anti-American vibe. The country is still recovering, at least in the remote parts, from the US interference in the 70's. Beautiful country though. Good luck!!
  8. Great! Any baking tips that is things to avoid?? THanks!
  9. Looking "bacK", I would encourage you to keep everything current with each school year or even semester. I didn't until I needed a transcript for a summer program and had to scramble. It might be worth thinking about also keeping a list of books read and a description of courses for the time that college apps roll around. As you can tell, I didn't think to do this myself:tongue_smilie:
  10. Yes, oh, yes investigate hospice. I went through this with my Dad last year and thanks to some wonderful ladies here who knew the benefits of hospice it made those last months so much better for everyone. God BLess.
  11. GREAT idea! I think i'm going to steal it if my ds will cooperate!!
  12. We have always done more than one book and even with calculus last year did LOF and Thinkwell. LOF is just so much FUN!
  13. This is a publisher's dream!! No more used books, easy updates, cheaper royalties and NOT that much cheaper to purchase for the state either. I'm suspicious.
  14. Didn't someone once post a link to an online site where you could download this? Donna Young site maybe? It's been a long time since I was at that stage but I know something exists. Maybe someone will remember?
  15. I always wore shorts over my swimsuit since I was in high school!! Thunder thighs....
  16. What's your favorite sugar substitute.... Shamlesly spinning off on the removeing sugar thread. But I do need to know this stuff. Thanks!
  17. Okay... just think about how useful some of these programs offered for the "gifted" are truly going to be. THey are mighty expensive and I have yet to find one that I thought was really worth the expense. It can be a racket.....
  18. Chiming in to agree that you might be surprised if you try it. Our ds did geometry (Jacobs) at age 11 and there was a slight blip to get the reasoning links in the brain circuit going but after that he flew through the proofs! Good luck.
  19. Louis de Wohl has a wonderful book on Joan of Arc!
