Sadly, not much! I went to not so great schools and hated being in everyone of them. I learned that I wanted to homeschool my children. :) I am jelous of those of you who had great school years!!:)

My son has been using honey for quite some time now. I am wondering, do you mix the honey and vinegar, or use them seperately?

I went to the HS convention in Orlando, but it was,well, OVERWHELMING!!! I am going to try to look at as many online samples as I can. I have got until next fall, so I've got time. It is actually a blessing to hear this right now. My dd (now 4) is 10 years younger than my other 2. My middle dd is in 8th and my oldest ds is a senior in high school. This subject has been wieghing on me heavily. I have been struggling with weather or not to keep her at home. Has your daughter always enjoyed being at home? I am looking forward to spending lots of time with her, but I also feel a little guilty about it.

Oh, what a sad situation. Sounds like this baby girl needs lots of LOVE!!!!! I would probably keep her right with you and the boys, and get her some craft stuff and some of her own workbooks. At 3 my daughter would play for hours with a dry erase board and a sock to erase with. I hope that her time with you gives her a true feeling of a loving family. God bless you for stepping up!! You rock!!

HONEY!!! My son had bad acne and we tryied LOTS of expensive stuff. I read somewhere to try honey and I thought what the heck. He has been using it for 1 1/2 yrs and it has worked great!! He rubs a little on his face at night, lets it sit for about 15-20 min. and then he rinses it off with a warm washcloth. It's cheap and it's worth a try.

I could have wrote this post a few months ago! Actually, I did! I ended up having the user manual up and the HST up at the same time and went step by step. I promise that once you start playing around with it, you will start to get it. I know that I will be learing how to use this for years to come. There is sooooo much to it!

I do not mean to hijack this thread, but you are the only other person I have heard of that has this. My 4 yr old has geographical tongue. Have you ever had any problems due to this? My dd just has a hard time drinking orange juice, which she loves, but it burns her tongue. I am just curious to know whether or not I need to look out for anything.

We will be using Teaching Textbooks for Algebra I. I talked in length to the consultant for TT at the Orlando Homeschool Convention and I really like this approach.

Does anyone get this? I subscribed back in March. I wrote them an email yesterday because I have never received an issue. They sent me back the address that they had for me and it was not mine. I sent them my correct address and they sent back an email saying that they will send me the current issue. I am wondering, is this a monthly magazine?

Well, this is our first experience with CLE Math. I had heard over and over that CLE 7 is a pre-pre-Algebra. CLE 8 seems to be a pretty soild Pre-Algebra course. I am very happy with it so far.:)

I wish that I had the time to, but we are using Sonlight and that is alot of books!!!!
