The most recent reenactment we went to one gun shot was heard and 3 guys fell down. It was comical. In the hospital area we get to see a "surgery" on a mans arm. The guys are very willing to show off and discuss their uniforms and even the guns. There was an area that you could hold the rifle and shoot it.

I don't mind change, the format doesn't bother me much. I hate that the hover feature is gone, the preview feature takes so long to load I mine as well just open the thread. I am having much dificulty opening threads, the pages load so slowly and several of my replies never post. Hopefully the bugs will be worked out soon..... or I will not be bothering to come here as often. Hmmmm.....was the upgrade done to weed me out? lol.

I've learned to put my tree in a corner and tie a string in both directions to nails in the wall to keep it from falling down. We also don't decorate the bottom row of branches.

Out of curiosity I had my dd count the books in our smallest bookshelf. She counted 346. We have 3 bigger bookshelves in that room plus books stacked next to our beds.

He will be getting a sports related hat and maybe some other sports related knicknack. A bobble head doll was a hit a few years ago.

The best thing I ever did was to have the surgery! Will I likely need surgeries in the future, Yes, do I care, NO. I was sooooo painful before surgery and even with some complications afterwards, I am so happy that I did it. Check out hystersisters.com

I'd rather give candy to a dressed up teenager than to a dressed up infant in a stroller and I know the parents are going to eat it.
