  1. Yes, I can't imagine staying home just because I am almost due. That sounds crazy to me.
  2. I use Horizons, Singapore and Math Mammoth with DS. Partly I do it to slow him down some. He does Horizons everyday and one lesson from either Singapore or Math Mammoth. Sometimes he does all 3!
  3. Nope, I would go down to the humane society and spend $100 for an adoption fee....
  4. I would go with it. We give our kids whatever we are eating starting at about 7-8 months.
  5. Singapore math. After we finish 1A and 1B I will not buy it again.
  6. My plan is to do: Phonics - 10 min Math- 15 min. Spelling - 10 min Geography - 10 min (2-3x/wk) Science - 10 min (2-3x/wk) Handwriting - 5 min But he usually ends up doing this because he wants to. Phonics - 20 min Math - 1 hr Spelling - 30 min Geography - 20 min everyday Science - 10 min everyday Handwriting - 5 min everyday
  7. Yes but that is only for half the years worth. I just ordered (couple weeks ago) through RR and ordered 1A TB, WB and 1B WB and TB and spent close to $60 with shipping. For the entire year it would be 1aTB: $13.50 1aWB x2: $26 1bTB: $13.50 1bWB x2: $26.00 = $79 not including the HIG. I was just confused because it came off as she was getting the entire years worth for $36 and not just 1A. :)
  8. LOL...neither am I. We tried Math Mammoth and I would always forget to print it until the sec we needed it.:tongue_smilie:
  9. How is it only $36? I just ordered 1A and 1B TB and WB for $50 some dollars and that was the cheapest I could find it and that is only for one kid. If I would have ordered for two it would have been $70ish.
  10. To add you don't need the tg for Horizons K. I think the workbooks are only $15 each if you wanted to go that route.
  11. MEP is free. I would link but I am on my kindle. I would probally do Singapore with MEP if you plan to stay with Singapore. If they are not ready you can always put away the workbooks and just play math games. ETA:Here is the link for MEP http://www.cimt.plymouth.ac.uk/projects/mep/default.htm
  12. DH and I are going to start trying again soon for another baby. He sooo wants another boy. I like having the names pick out ASAP. I can't decide between these five! The MN is a family name.
  13. We have always fed our cat dry food. He is now 6 and has never had any issues.
  14. We are using Phonics Pathways. I love it! It is open and go and we can re do a page as many times as DS needs.
  15. DS will be finished with K in about 2 months and here is the plan for 1st. Phonics: finish Phonics Pathways Math: Horizons 1 Grammar: Shurley 1 Writing: WWE1 Penmanship: D' Nealian 1 Spelling: A Reason For Spelling A Science: BJU 1 History: BJU 1
  16. DS loves Horizons. The color and spiral keep him interested in it.
  17. That's exactly why I don't shop at goodwill anymore. Last time I went I spent $30 on three clothing items for DS and then went to Baby GAP and bought him 2 pants, 1 hoodie, 1 rashguard and 2 shirts on the clearance rack for $24 with tax.
  18. I know! I loved everything about it but the price.....
