Melbourne. I believe the PS school option would be Allen for 2nd grade and Central for 7th .... I think they have charters but Im not sure if those would be an option for us. I am more worried about the middle school.

If someone here is familiar with homeschooling in Brevard County FL and wouldnt mind PMing me? We currently live in IL with no regs. I am not familiar with the schools... if we go the PS route The school will be Allen... I know there is a "virtual" option as well.... or "other HS options?" TIA. We hoep to be moving sometime in Jan-Feb if job placement works out.

DH says Dells are a waste of $, he prefers HP. Most of DH's side jobs are fixing Dells :) We are an HP household.

In addition to the bendryl he should be taing a steriod to help. It is very commn for these type of reactions get worse over time and each reaction after exposure can be worse than the last.

My kids are old enough to be left alone for short periods of time. HOWEVER b/c of youngests very impulsive nature/ASD I can not trust things would be ok. I broke down and bought a treadmill. On days where it is nice I will go out by myself after DH get's home before dark but now that it is getting dark sooner I wont be doing that.

DD [6.5] can memorize a poem by looking at it a few times. For example, The Catarpillar in FLL1.... I read it to her 3 times, wrote it on the white board to which she read it back to me 3x and knew it. Math Facts...... :confused: no retention what-so-ever. BUT if I have her fill out number bonds or use crods she whips them out no problems. Math facts [addition] on index cards-NO. Why is it easier for her to remember somethings and not others..... it confuses and frustrates me.

I agree. YOU can do that work from home. There is software availabe you can "remote" in to their system. They can keep you :D and get an in office assistant to help with projects. win-win for everyone.

We just started week 3.... I added SWS1 and WWW1, FLL and WWE1 are a hit. SM math is working out well with IP. I dropped SOTW and havent started science yet. We will be trying SL Core B but I may just leave it till next year for 2nd grade and just focus on the 3 R's.
