  1. I really like this post. Especially the middle paragraph. Something I tried to say but couldn't quite get across. I'd like them to appreciate what they have and give to others as they have been given to. As far as answering other posts: I would be posting items on eBay for them. No, I do NOT attach strings to gifts. I hand things down to my kids all the time without expecting them to pay for it. They only want to buy more stuff. They are not raising money for a good cause.
  2. When you buy (birthday, christmas) gifts for your kids 18 and under, living in your home. Such as, Electronics, clothes, toys, blankets, etc. Would you allow them to sell these items and keep the money, if they no longer wanted it? Even if their are other kids in the house who could use it. Forgot to add example: Dd has gotten dresses over the years, wants to sell them. I want her little sis wear them. Another child has video games that other kids in the house have been playing for years, now wants to sell them.
  3. So sorry to hear that. (((Hugs))) I'd suggest trying to find times to relax. Do things you enjoy; bubble bath, listen to music, yoga, reading etc. If thats not an option and your not able to function I'd say as a last resort go see your Dr.
  4. I've only seen peanut butter on top or ice cream.
  5. Congratulations! How exciting:) For the gift I'd say a gift certificate.
  6. I love pie, I wish we could have voted for more than one!
  7. Oh thanks, I've been wondering what that was for.
  8. You do very good work! They are cute. I know how hard people work on homemade items, so they mean a lot to me when I receive them. My Grandma made me an angel once. I wish I still had it.
  9. I went late yesterday and couldn't figure out why so many people were there! I thought maybe there was some kind of food shortage going on. Good thing I picked up organic candy canes (didn't go for those but they looked so pretty sitting there), pickles and coconut milk when I did! I didn't realize it till later when I was home that people were prob getting things for Thanksgiving.
  10. I think they sound nice. I like homemade gifts.
  11. No, I fold mine. If I were to hang them they would get all stretched out or weird in the shoulder area. You could try hanging them upside down clipping the bottoms with those hangers that have clips on them. At least that's the way I would, If I did, but I don't. :)
  12. That's weird. I'd say no. Well, actually I would have called mil on the phone and asked, "Are you serious?" and then said no.
  13. It's the Beastie Boys song, used in an advertisement without consent.
  14. A few months ago I emailed CLE asking if I could send them like new items and teacher guides. I said they could be given to those who are in need of curic but couldn't afford it. They emailed back saying no.
  15. I had no idea seats expire. If there are dates on the seats, I dont have any on mine. I thought they weren't to be used if ever in an accident?
