My ds has really enjoyed this book. We like the student manual as well. I have not purchased the teachers guide. He used Aristotle Leads the Way while he studied Ancient History in 7th grade. I was ill for a few months and he was able to do this on his own.
I'm in on the quilt as well. It would be a fun thing to do. Sorry this is all so difficult but it seems to be the way it goes. Hang on! :grouphug: If you want one of us to start the quilt square thread let one of us know.
My dd started early with "_____ residence, ______ ________, speaking, May I ask whose calling please?" Sometimes they just have to interrupt and tell the caller they are getting their Mom.
I used The Story of the World and activity book at that age. Both children really enjoyed it. Our science wasn't very structured. We read books, went to museums, and occasional experiments.
I finally started putting all of my ds's things to the right of him. When I watched carefully he seemed slightly right handed. When he started writing for any length of time at 7 or 8 and used his left hand it just didn't work quite so well. Once I walked into his room and asked why he was doing his math with his left hand and he looked up puzzled and said, "oh, maybe that's why it's taking so long." He will still everything with either hand but if he remembers it is easier with his right. I would try and figure out which one to encourage for your son. Good luck!
We can only stay in when we know we are ill. This flu doesn't give notice. :) Once it's around your community you'll never be sure from whom you got it. I pray you are all feeling better soon!
I think setting a time limit is helpful. My ds doesn't have a sense of time. The boys could use a locker space near the outside door. Swim, change, door, (where you are waiting and can call in with a hurry up.)
The gift cards would work well at this house. My kids look forward to their gift cards. I don't think you outgrow I-tunes or Cabellas. Congratulations on getting your shopping done. You are my inspiration!
You can also try sliding it along his cheek to the back of the mouth and see if you get a good reading. If he can keep his mouth closed it should work.
I got pregnant with my fibroid. I was on bed rest for the 2nd half of my pregnancy. The nest pregnancy went fine. The fibroids went away. I also had laproscopic surgery for endometriosis and that stopped all the bleeding and pain before the pregnancies. I think you have to see what kind of symptoms you have to decide if you need to have them removed or not. Also the doctor said that removing them can cause scar tissue and that's why he wanted me to try and get pregnant first. I'm sorry it wasn't a sweet little one.
