  5. Come on, give her a break, please. She's asking for advice on where to get rings, not everyone's opinion on whether they understand them or not.
  6. I know someone whose daughter placed her little commitment card inside a card she gave her husband on their wedding day. It was really cool to know that she had kept that card and gave it to her new hubby! :)
  7. Well, I'm glad it's not your gall bladder or anything that will require surgery. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Thanks for letting us know what the dr. said! :grouphug:
  8. Peek flew into DC to see her brother graduate from Officer Candidate School in Quantico :patriot:and she stopped by Starbucks to meet Chris and me. We had a great time with her. Click the picture to see a larger version. It's Chris, Peek, and me.
  9. While I do not have experience with their English classes, I am certain that this course would be as rigorous, if not more so, than any other online class. Our experience with Potter's School has only been a positive one, and they really strive to offer the best educational experience. My daughter may take the English 1 class next year, and my son (will be a junior) will most likely take English from them as well, plus a couple of other classes. The "owners" of Potter's School are passionate about discipleship and education. HTH-:)
  10. Oh, I am so, so sorry. Prayers for all of you.
  11. but we've had our Roundabout for almost 3 years, and I really like it. :001_smile:
  12. Did you ever figure out what was causing the pain this weekend? Hope you're feeling better!
  13. of a private school allowing him to wrestle? My son was offered a spot on a private school wrestling team even though he was homeschooled. He chose not to do it because it was too far of a drive. I don't know what your reasons for homeschooling are, but I would advise you to carefully consider the pros and cons of sending your son to school so he can participate in sports. HTH-
  14. I was voted Most Sophisticated, and no it is not accurate. :)
