  1. :grouphug: Hang in there and count the positive blessings you have! Im a single mom and I know it can be difficult but you have to stay positive even when it seems like the most difficult thing in the world to do! :grouphug:
  2. Newbie here and we are starting in Sept. ive been printing stuff from Donnayoung. Im going to try to keep a binder with printouts for scheduling and attendance, our field trips and all that "stuff" Kind of nice to make your own planner with printouts because then you can have exactly what you want in what order you want etc.. Plus its fun! :D
  3. I think there are off brands.. But its hard to tell the difference (other than packaging) . they did have them at the dollar tree but were sold out when we went. The craze took offff!! lol My mom found them at the drug store. $3 for a pack of 12? I think it was. you want to see something funny type in Sillybandz on ebay!! ;) its funny how certain things become so popular so quickly! My daughter gave me one to wear.. "mom you have to have this" lol well I get more comments from all the kids in the neighborhood. I think its cute, very harmless and there are much worse things that could be the trend!!
  4. I think I remember hearing a review on the today show that most bottled waters are not any different or better then most tap water. Maybe you can google it and find out. or search on the today show website for the story. :001_smile:
  5. Yea I bought my car used. Its a 04 vw beetle. Its heading toward 80,000 miles which i guess isnt alot for any car now adays. But being its almost paid and Im trying to get finances back in order. Im just going to keep it and then get something bigger in a few years when I can afford it. The door works fine and its really hard to see the damage unless your really looking. So It doesnt really bother me as long as everything works. :001_smile: Thanks everyone :001_smile: After I get the estimate im going to take my Dad with me to the shop being he knows them and hes been through these type of things before.
  6. Ive had Smartwater and honestly I didnt think it tasted any different then poland springs or other bottled waters. IMO, I think its more your paying for the name. ;)
  7. No. I dont even know where it happened. It could of been several parking lots... ANyway I just called my dad and he kind of explained things to me.. and he said that you can choose not to have it repaired. I feel much better.:) Plus he knows the guy at the shop really well. Its really not something that is dangerous etc. Its a few small creases in the door, just enought to be annoying to the eye. I guess I just have to wait and see.. MAybe Ill have a few busy days at work and not have to worry about the $$. Thanks for your responses. :001_smile:
  8. I wouldnt take it there until I did have the $. Ive just never done this before so I didnt know how it works. I know some people get the check and then take it where they choose. I told her a place of my choice but i wasnt for sure about it. Im so sick to my stomach over this. I just had a dentist appointment this morning and it was $150. I cant use a credit card .. Ive post about this in other posts. Im trying to pay those off. sometimes i get sooo discouraged.. seems that all these $$ things happen at once. and it wasnt even my fault! :glare:
  9. The insurance agent came and wrote up the claim etc.. she said the damage would be way above my $250 deductible. She said she would send me the estimate and fax one to the body shop. HOw does this work. Do I have to pay the first $250 then they pay the rest to have the car repaired. I really cant afford that right now.. Ugg.. Its a few creases in the door where the other car hit me. Do I have to have it repaired? this is probably silly questions but Ive never had to do this before . :001_huh:
  10. She has an Acoustic Guitar. she would probably like to learn a variety from new country to some old rock, some folky stuff.. :001_smile:
  11. netflix does have good info. My daughter loved that movie.. cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Its very child oriented , Not bad at all!
  12. I'm really trying to cut back on spending and any lessons around here would be around $20 each. My daughter has a guitar and I would love for her to learn how to play. She can read notes , so she should be able to learn quite easily. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas ... dvds for learning to play guitar?? Thanks :001_smile:
  13. ohh yummm.. my mother makes this quite often! she usually serves it with a pork roast and gravy. really any kind of roast with a gravy its yummmmy! if you have left overs.. you can fry it with onions and butter / garlic and butter.. super yummy.;)
  14. Conditioner can really make your hair limp.. I try to only use very little conditioner and sometimes skip it. :001_smile: And also try and switch shampoo every few weeks.
  15. http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/da/e/AAAAAimkVLAAAAAAANrqnA.jpg http://www.getmarried.com/members/brides/43/s/78955/images/blog/hairstyles-for-short-hair.jpg heres a few more cute styles that work good for thin straight hair. also my thin straight hair tends to get more volume when its cut shorter with some layers. ;)
  16. No, thats not what i was thinking.. lol but its cute.. thats sort of like the shag or "rachel" which is cute. I have thin hair too and straight. I use to have it in a bob but longer in front and shorter in the back with layers in the back. kind of like the link below but you could do it a little longer if your afraid of going to short. :) http://www.hairstylestalk.com/images/short-hairstyles1.jpg
  17. I baked a few pies :001_smile:.. The bending over and rolling out the pie crust made my back hurt.. hmm.. then that night I went into labor but it most likely had nothing to do with the pies.. ;) Hang in there. :grouphug:
  18. Just above shoulders (or shorter) .. slightly longer in front and shorter in back with some layers would look nice :001_smile:
  19. Just bumping this.. I can double check on compatibility.. Tell me about your printer... if it doesnt use a lot of ink!
  20. Being they take soo long to cook, you could probably cook them most of the way then finish them the next day. I use hot sauce , soy sauce, and butter (if your not watching calories..lol) my SIL cooks the wings until they are super crispy then she throws them in the sauce (above) that she heated and thickened. right before serving. I usually just toss them and marinate them in teh same sauce and then just cook till very crispy. either way yummy
  21. I miss the days when you could just plug the printer in and that was it! :tongue_smilie: My dell printer cd with drivers messed up my replacement laptop with windows 7 upgrade from vista.. .. ahhh ya.. then all new laptop with windows 7.. and dell helped me get my printer all set up and the drivers downloaded. Worked for a few months.. and now it stopped in mid of printing again.. ergg. (. I posted about this on another thread) Anyway.. Ive tried and tried and it probably needs more driver updates or something. But being that I have got it working with my mothers pc and she needs a printer. ( HP pc -- working with my dell printer) I figured I would just get a new printer/copy (NoT a Dell) maybe one that doesnt use as much ink . Just wondering who likes what they have and what works well / cost effecient Ink replacement etc. I LOVE printing stuff! ( Not so much photos) :001_smile:
