  1. You are definitely welcome to some of ours... I'd love to see anything above freezing...Yesterday I woke up to -2'F and was thrilled to peak at 13'F.
  2. Food dye....My ds has terrible reactions to some dyes, especially things like fruit roll-ups or by the foot ...Bad, bad, bad. Don't ignore what you are seeing.
  3. :iagree: When you can handle them failing on their own knowing the responsibility falls only on their shoulders.
  4. Omgosh...I thought this was you...goodness I shouldn't post before caffeine.
  5. Yep, yep...Many phones are sold new with recycled batteries and most of the batteries have a charge life. (Last time this was explained to me, it was 600 hours.) So....they are made to fail and the new ones are always going to be more, more, more. More features, more enticing, and of course...more money. We have a pre-paid phone for the family and dh has his work provided Trio.
  6. Same here for the recipes. I like pulling out a page and not worrying about keeping the recipe clean. Any new recipe goes into the front and is tried before I find the right section permanently. It's nice to just slip one in or out this way.
  7. (((Rhonda))) I'm sending hugs and prayers your way.
  8. Welcome baby Norah Jane, and congratulations. I just love those sleeping baby pictures...adorable, sweet and just the cutest.
  9. We purchased one on the 1st, and everyone here is still using it. I love it for winter here, and I'm down a few pounds. We do have the luxury of another bedroom, so space isn't a big issue with it. We have it set up in front of a big window with a cd player and television. I'm enjoying lots of books on tape and the rest of the fam prefer to get a little tv time in. If the place were cramped it might bug me or I'd take it downstairs to the basement. Honestly, I was unsure we would use, but my kids aren't little (no safety worry) and the weather here is just not walking or running weather year round. That said, I do like getting on the treadmill for short stress relieving burst or just catching 15 minutes of exercise here and there throughout the day. My dh is a runner and will always use it when the weather is bad, but he prefers running outside. When he really runs on this one, we can hear it downstairs, but if someone is walking or jogging it isn't noisy. I think a good one can be a blessing if you use. A good one can be a little expensive and does take up a lot of room, we have a space saver one that folds up.
  10. :grouphug:I will be praying for you, Rhonda.:grouphug:
  11. (((Dawn))) I'm sending hugs and prayers your way. Prayers for you, your mom, your children and husband. :grouphug: That is so very much to be dealing with at one. Goodness, hang in there get through this without guilt. Do what you can or must and don't let the sheer number of things overwhelm you.
  12. The green color would cause me to call the doctor. Green vs. yellow often means an infection needs to be treated. :grouphug:
  13. That blue with the white looks stunning. Love it, love it....Have fun filling up the shelves.
  14. My kids are older and we are ready in no time now. When I had little people, I needed time to clear the toys, vacuum, tidy and fret over what wasn't cleaned. Now, I just open the door unless the guest(s) are overnight ones. I'd need to switch the sheets and transform the exercise room back into the guest room. I'd also do a deep cleaning in the bathroom, put out fresh towels and designate it as theirs.
  15. :grouphug:Oh Jean, I'll be praying for him here.
  16. Nope. I attended a number of public and private schools.
  17. Thank you... Ewww, my state and favorite grocery bakery was mentioned.
