  1. Mine are like this. I guess the grippy side is neoprene, not silicone. https://m.bedbathandbeyond.com/m/product/kitchensmart-reg-solid-pot-holder/3176220?Keyword=oven%20mitts
  2. I don't like the kind that are solid silicone AT ALL. Maybe because my hands are small but I don't feel like I have good control when I'm wearing those. I have some that I love that are fabric and have a silicone surface on the hand part. They have a great grip and fit my hands really well.
  3. I only know one thing that I'm buying and it's not a gift. Sam's Club is going to have a 2 pack Oral B 6000 electric toothbrush for $99.
  4. That was fascinating. I look forward to reading more.
  5. For my DH, I would look at Gap, Banana Republic, and H&M.
  6. Me too!!!!I cannot stand to be hot. I can't sleep at all when I'm hot.
  7. In the winter: 58 at night, 63-66 during the day, depending how cold I am.
  8. DS got this a few years ago for Christmas. It was good for playing by himself. Gravity Maze https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IUAAK2A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_YkN.zbTMY2358
  9. Do you have/go to Sam's? I've used their version of Tide and thought it was just as good. I'm now using Persil (expensive) but it's newer and there seem to be a lot of coupons for it.
  10. I need to watch both seasons again. I watched it so fast that I can't even remember half of what happened.
  11. A coaster!!! I can finish a coaster! I have many scarf projects started... I like crocheting much better than knitting.
  12. SW extra white in Proclassic acrylic enamel.
  13. I taught middle school. I think I always took a "mental health day" in October. 😬
  14. How much can you afford for a payment? A $5,000 loan @3.99% for 36 months is $164/month. With that you would be paying $348 in total interest over the life of the loan. *I* would spend the $10,000 if you can afford it. I think you'll get a LOT more life out of the car.
  15. I voted for Columbus Day. None of the others bother me.
  16. How it works where I live is that every neighborhood in my small city is less than 40 years old (most less than 25 years old). They all have HOAs.
  17. And I would think the cherries would be breaking down and starting to get watery.
  18. I wouldn't worry about the cream. I keep cartons of (pasteurized) cream in my fridge for several weeks without it going bad. But I would probably google and see what the other ingredients are likely to be. If it looks good I would taste it. I would be surprised if the cream wasn't starting to separate.
  19. Yes, it's supposed to be campy and it should remind you of The Goonies. The creators have said The Goonies was a huge influence on them.
  20. Look at smaller businesses in your area. We own a construction company and many people like us can use part time help and might be more flexible with schedules.
  21. We live in a newer HOA neighborhood. Everyone here does ToT on Halloween night. I would guess that within a 30 mile radius of where I live that at least 95% of the neighborhoods have HOAs. So basically, everyone does ToT in a HOA neighborhood. In my 45years, I've lived in a small town in the Midwest, a small city in the Midwest, a big city in the Midwest, and in Southern California. Everywhere I've ever lived, ToT was on Halloween night.
  22. Have you looked at online tutoring (as a job for you)?
