  1. Thank you! So helpful and perfect timing! I am just trying to figure out next years art study.
  2. This one one my blog I used for his year. I plan on using the same for next year just changing the subject area curriculum. I just print off one weekly and fill it in with pencil. This allows for erasing and crossing off when done.
  3. Awesome! Thanks ladies! I am trying to figure out next years art curriculum and I can't pass up the ridiculous cheap price.:001_smile:
  4. Anyone use MTM online on a Mac computer? The MTM website says to use internet explorer as your browser. But the Homeschoolers Buyer Coop under the MTM FAQ's says that for optimum use, use IE but Safari can be used as an option for a Mac without an IE browser. I have Safari and am not going to download IE just to use one program, so does anyone use MTM on a Safari browser. And if so are there any problems?
  5. I don't understand the listening Bieber=bad parenting thing either. If you have ever seen his movie you would see how extremely talented he is and how hard he works his butt off. My dd6 loves JB.
  6. My dd6 knows what Facebook is because dh and I both have accounts. She made of her sister the other day regarding Facebook. I thought it was quite funny.:D
  7. After some annoying issues with Blogger, mine is finally posted. We have a funny video this week dd6 made secretly with her sister. It's called "Let's Put it on Facebook!":D
  8. The actual exercise sequences in the TAM have no jumping/bouncing. They are just one movement repeated, immediately flowing into the next one. For the half hour, there is zero breaks or pauses. I would probably go for the hipcentric. I heard that 2 or 3 levels in each one is the same but the other ones will be much more focused on the hip area. There is a Tracy Anderson page on facebook that I find is also quite helpful for answering questions if you have any that I can't answer. Overall, I am very happy with the program. I did do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and I like the TAM more. I don't dread it as much and my muscles feel well worked and energized after not worn out and sore.
  9. I have the omnicentrics metamorphosis just recently purchased and I have just begun level 2. This program kicks my butt big time. The cardio is very bouncy like redsquirrel said and takes a bit to get used to. My knees still hurt after and I am almost now up to the full half hour of the cardio. The metamorphosis is broken in 9 levels each for 10 days and each a little harder than the next. There are a lot of reps of each exercise and honestly, sometimes I can't do them all. The instruction in these are better than her other videos and it is easy to follow along even if you are listening to an ipod (I like my own music, I find it more motivating). The idea to use it is do the 1/2 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of the workout each day. I bought mine off ebay and got it for way cheaper.
  10. Hi Jane,

I really like Nallenart L'art de dire which is the earliest level. It is really good for a lot of basic vocabulary without any writing done by the kid. I have Level 1 for next year but I don't know yet if she is ready for this one because it is more hands on. I was thinking RS might be good for her to begin when she is 8 or 9 depending on how she responds to it though because it makes some big leaps sometimes. We really enjoy Nallenart and you can get it online now (I think) which might make it easier if you don't mind printing pages off. The only prep work I had with this was I coloured and laminated the flash cards and then put them on a ring for easy review. The flashcards are a main part of each days work so they need to be laminated for durability. The women who made the program also responds to emails quickly which is nice to have just in case. Feel free to ask me more questions if you need anymore information.

  11. We have RS French and I really like it. DD6 is too young yet, but I use it and she watches many times. We paid a very low cost for it too which made it hard to pass up and I am happy we didn't. I don't have any regrets......well maybe just one and it has nothing to do with the product. I am disappointed in myself for falling off the wagon with it. I need to get back on.
  12. I'm sorry, I don't remember your question.:tongue_smilie: It happens to me all the time. I used to pride myself on my memory and now I find myself staring blankly while I try to remember/focus my thoughts. A few days ago I looked at my camera (which I have had for 3 years) for at least 45 seconds while I was trying to remember where the usb cable plugs into it.:001_huh:
  13. Thanks for the blog post! We are doing SOTW 2 next year and medieval history is my thing as well so I am really looking forward to it. I was thinking that I would be needing a lot more supplements for this book than the last so thanks for confirming that. I wasn't a big fan of the AG for SOTW 1, we ended up skipping most of the crafts in it. So I might skip buying that and put the money towards some good supplemental books instead. Thanks for the book recommendations. I find the medieval time period fascinating and hope to pass that on to my dd.
  14. Ours is up! No break for us. We took Wednesday off though because I was having a bad day.;) We are going to keep plugging through the summer with a week off here and there.
  15. Ours is up! I missed last week, so this is two in one.
  16. I just took down my Christmas tree at Easter and that is only because my parents were coming to visit. I was planning on incorporating it somehow into an Easter theme just to get out of taking it down.
  17. There is a god of luck? Maybe I should get worshipping because I am severly lacking there lately.:tongue_smilie:
  18. To me even though I am not a Christian if someone who is one says God Bless or Blessings it is special. It means something to the person saying it therefore it translates that they care enough to share that with you. Clear as mud? Things sound so much better in my head. I'll make it brief then. I appreciate it.
  19. I updated mine. We are still working on this years stuff, but we school year round so one thing blends into the next anyway. Disclaimer: I have only bought about 1/3 of needed books so my signature is subject to change depending how my fickle nature sways me.

  21. Because it is a French Canadian dish originally and pronounced with a French accent.:001_smile:
  22. Whoa, first time ever I made it in to the first 10 weekly Report posts. Here is ours! Baby spit and a light bulb moment. :001_smile:
  23. I remake the bed everyday. My dh seems to have a dramatic bed exit because he is unable to get out of bed without untucking the sheets and flinging the comforter into a weird twisted ball. :glare:
  24. I've got them and reported them to Paypal's fraud dept. They sent back a reply via generic email stating that they never send emails asking you to log on through links in an email, they will always tell you to go into paypal and log into your account.
  25. I too am small 5'3" and 110 lbs but I need to tone....big time. I also just had a baby in Dec. I recently started Tracy Andersons videos and they literally kick my butt. It's been 2 weeks and I can already see/feel a difference.
