  1. Someone posted the cartoon a few posts above us if you want. If you type his name in FB search engine and then click on pages instead of people search then he should be at the top of the search list.
  2. My dd6 is VERY stubborn as well. I have tried this technique to see if it would work because she loves her tv and computer time. When I tell her she has lost ________ privilege for x amount of days she walks to the calendar and says "so, uh...that means I'll be allowed on the computer next Wednesday?" Then she will mark it on the calendar.:glare: Also I have tried the donating toys to charity. After I have asked multiple times for them to be put away I will say that any left out will be packed and donated to charity no exceptions. Last time she went and got the bag and helped me fill it.:001_huh: Seriously, how do you deal with a child like this?
  3. :iagree: It's my favourite food in the world. I personally think the world would be a better place if everything came with a side of Hollandaise sauce.;) My dd6 loves eggs benny and cried once when she was 3 because a restaurant didn't have steamed broccoli as a side option.
  4. No you shouldn't be concerned yet, doctors will tell you that they can flip at an point......except for me that seems. She was breech from the start and we kept hoping she'd flip, but she was stubborn.;) So I had her via c/s at 39 weeks and she was/is great.
  5. He has, but won't anymore unless it is something I specifically want or ask for.
  6. That would be awesome. The only homeschooling "group" we have here goes to the local zoo once a month during its open season. Nothing educational or very fun after the third or fourth time going.
  7. :iagree: I'm from Peterborough which is 1.5 hours from Toronto. We are supposed to be moving to Toronto within the next six months for dh career. Maybe we should all get together and form our own homeschooling group. ;)
  8. I must be strange too because that is my favourite weather. Throw in a nice thunderstorm and I'm happy. I really enjoy snow too, people find that odd. I extremely dislike summer.
  9. Is anyone else participating? I am running around the house right now trying to find my candles, while dd6 is getting into her pajamas and getting out some games for us to play.
  10. We're up! I'm earlier than I though I was going to be.
  11. We are doing AAS 1 with dd6 and are doing one level a day. It takes us on average 20 minutes a day to complete a level. We started AAS 1 after she finished OPTGR last week. She already knows these words from reading so we are moving quicker than we will for the next levels. But after we go through all the steps with the beginning reviews, it still takes about 20-25 minutes for us to complete fully.
  12. Red first and black almost as much. I buy more black in clothes though.
  13. It is possible to make it secular. That is what I bought to use and we teach secularly, just skip the prayer step.
  14. Language Arts Spelling: All About Spelling 3-4 FLL 2 WWE 2 Math Singapore Math 2A/B or Math Mammoth 2A/B I haven't decided yet. Right now we are breaking from SM 1A/B to do MM 1A/B. We'll see which one we like best after. History SOTW 2 Science Elemental Science Earth Science and Astronomy Languages Nallenart L'Art Lire 1 Latin for Children A/GSW-Latin Art & Music Meet the Masters maybe or Artistic Pursuits Composer Study I put together Others Geography - Expedition Earth (done secularly) Memory Work I feel like I am missing something in one hand and in the other think I have too much going on. :tongue_smilie:
  15. It's still Monday here, so I made it on time:) Here is my post.
  16. I generally wear boots with jeans until the weather gets to warm. These are my staple right now. These when in the need for dressier or I want to feel taller:) I don't usually wear long skirts. Pencil skirts are the longest I go but my summer shoes entail of these and these.
  17. Ours is up! Taken after the St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday that her and her dad participated in.
  18. Haha! That's funny because mine just came in the mail today and I have been cutting and attaching magnets off and on for a few hours. I did know about having to do it yourself though from previous mentioning of it.:001_smile:
  19. Done before 7 o'clock on Friday! That's a new record for me:) Here is our week!
  20. Congratulations! What an awesome name!:hurray:
  21. I just finished now. Now I am off to try to find my missing favorite shirt and our missing Harry Potter nighttime read aloud. I blaming that one on dh.:glare:
  22. I would really like to enjoy their coffee more since you can pass one every 5 minutes here. But, my first job as a teenage was working the Tim Horton's drive thru at 6 am every morning. Still after all these years when I smell the coffee I have horrible flashbacks :ack2:. I unfortunately have to drink the much more costly Starbucks for my fix.
  23. I sometimes wonder if I played more with my dd6 if it would cut down on the mess.:glare: It seems to me every time I walk into a room she has just been playing in (regardless if I just cleaned it) she has either moved some of the furniture around and redecorated or has the largest barbie/littlest petshops/polly pocket village you have ever seen with lego and block skyscrapers.:001_huh:
