I went to a funeral at 4. There was an open casket and I was shocked. Didn't see another open casket intil I was over 50 and I wasn't shocked then. I don't think 6 is a good age for a funeral. I actually missed ny father's at age 13 because I was quite sick w strep throat and didn't want it to spread. My mother who died when I was 23 had a memorial service, which was fine w me.

I have three married kids. I do not have texting with any of their in laws. Not Facebook friends either. Don;t know much about ddil's family except parts are in Louisiana nd parts in FL. DD1 has been married the longest. I have met a number of members of her family.. But I am not in contact with any. DD2 has in-laws in AL but not near us. In a small town near the GA border. I haven't met any of them. -

Evern being angry is not a sin. The emotions are not the problem. What you do with them can be. -
Can you guess how I feel? I can't even think about getting maid service again or any other help until my kitchen is back in order. Our entire dining room and large portion of the great room is filled w everything from food ( from pantry where the shelves had to be painted) to all our dishes plates, pots, kitchen appliances both large (dishwasher, new ,range/oven,etc) and small- food processor, blender, mixer, etc). And I don’t wven know if things willl be back in place by Christmas.

You need nerve medication too - that is the only way to help severe nerve pain. I has excruciating sciatic nerve pain after my lower spine surgery and the only thing that helped was 30 mg of amitriptyline throughout the day plus strong narcotics. I will pray you get relief.

Electrician at least is coming tomorrow so we will have range, oven and microwave in pkace. The people are coming later this week to measure to measure for the granite counter tops and then we should have those in 2 weeka. Not sure when plumber is coming. And we need a floor too.

Money is fungible. Like if you give somebody $5 for a coffee and they use their credit card to buy that coffee but use the $5 bill tobput in the Salvation Army bucket. It was a word used a lot in late Sept through mid October. We pronised Iran $6B dollars for humanitarian puroposes but money is fungible. So $6B which they were going to have spend for food and medicines they would no longer have to spend their own money on that and could now spend it in terrorism or developing new weapons or whatever they want.
